![]() Author has written 6 stories for Song of the Lioness, Card Captor Sakura, Fire Emblem, and Teen Titans. it has been brought to my attention that my pseudonym is hard to pronounce. in an effort to assuage that problem, i've inserted periods to separate each syllable. here's the phonetic breakdown (approximately): fee-fie-foh-fum i read a lot of books, mostly fantasy, science fiction. i love fantasy novels and am especially fond of knights and mages. i'm rather fond of the winding circle and the circle opens series from tamora pierce- the take on magic i find very interesting. however, her protector of the small series has to be my favorite of all time. i'm also fond of reading marion zimmer bradley(avalon series), eoin colfer (artemis fowl series), diana wynne jones (especially her wizards series), and clive barker (abarat series). tolkien's lord of the rings and lewis' chronicles of narnia are a big hit to me. the twilight series, i'm ashamed to say, has been fully read. after finishing, i found myself torn after a week. i'd processed what i read and finally came down to one conclusion, it'd been a colossal waste of my time. harry potter will go down into the annals of history as a brilliant children's chronicle. fun read, though it did get kind of gritty at the end there. i won't lie, i watch a lot of anime. i'm not even going to try to list them all. just the ones that i thought were really good. clamp (xxxholic), denpa teki na kanojo, black rock shooter, fullmetall alchemist brotherhood, full metal panic, witch hunter robin, twelve kingdoms, angel beats, birdy the mighty, clannad (dude, after story was so depressing that i allowed the whole reset cheat), puella magi madoka magica, kara no kyoukai, eden of the east, durarara!, vision of escaflowne, neon genesis evangelion, argento soma, hikaru no go, the world god only knows. i'm gonna stop there. i'm an rpg gamer. no first person shooters or fighting arcade games for me. my reflexes are pathetic. i'm in it more for the story than anything else. also, if they have an interesting take on magic, it intrigues me. some interesting tv shows i watched include star trek (original series, the next generation, voyager, deep space nine), firefly (and movie), doctor who (2005 series). oh, cartoons! almost forgot about them and the genre i write for the most is one of them! teen titans (yay. bbrae for the win!), avatar: the last airbender, jackie chan adventures, young justice, my little pony- friendship is magic. this is a rather abbreviated synopsis of me. i used to have quotes, but i erased them all. so here're some new ones! Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. He who loves 50 people has 50 woes; he who loves no one has no woes. I never see what has been done; I only see what remains to be done. In the sky, there is no distinction of east and west; people create distinctions out of their own minds and then believe them to be true. It is a man's own mind, not his enemy or foe, that lures him to evil ways. The mind is everything. What you think you become. There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth; not going all the way, and not starting. There is nothing more dreadful than the habit of doubt. Doubt separates people. It is a poison that disintegrates friendships and breaks up pleasant relations. It is a thorn that irritates and hurts; it is a sword that kills. Virtue is persecuted more by the wicked than it is loved by the good. In the end these things matter most: How well did you love? How fully did you live? How deeply did you let go? Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it. pop quiz: what religious denomination do i belong to? |
