Ha, ha, ha! This made me laugh. Sweet, short and beautiful, and I think the coolest side character role goes to Tris. Who doesn't even need to introduce herself, not like Daja and Sandry.

I think I also recognized Rosethorn in this, although her name wasn't mentioned. I really love little riddles like that.

I thought I was done with this year's spell of reading Circle of Magic fan fictions, but apparently I'm not. This was perfect, short and well-done, and your characterization of Briar was spot-on. As were the girls, in that regard. I really love those four.

So that actually calls for a similar story for all the girls, doesn't it? *laugh*
