Reviews for The Librarian's Children
Guest chapter 26 . 5/4
I don't know if you still check these or get notified about them, but I just wanted to say thank you. This was one of the first fanfics to ever really hook me, back when it was still updating. And even now, over a decade later, it's still one of my favorite stories. So again, thank you.
Guest chapter 26 . 4/28
I'm addicted to this. I have sat here, for hours on end, reading this incredible story. I'm sad I was not there in the making of this story but glad I could read it all. It was incredible and I hope one day you will read this miniscule review and make a post epilogue? Who am I kidding? I'm not sure you will ever find this review. Either way, this is my glue story and I could read it so many times over and not get bored. Thank you for being the incredible FanFiction author of my favorite BBRae story of all times. More like RaexGar. Not that I'm complaining! Thank you forever!
M.Lalonde chapter 25 . 9/19/2019
I suppose I had already commented, but even after the many times I have read this fic ... it still leaves a smile on my face.
M.Lalonde chapter 1 . 9/16/2019
I think I have read this fic about four or five times, it is my favorite
Chibi1309 chapter 26 . 7/31/2019
Loved this story. A shame you no longer write FanFiction, but I completely understand and respect your reasons for not doing so. I’ve just finished a mammoth story myself and it does take up so much time and a lot of headspace too! I just wrote this review to say, keep writing your own stories. With talent like this, I have no doubt you will be published someday
Rumjunkie chapter 26 . 6/24/2019
I have to say, this story is incredibly well written.
It's 4am here and I have just read it in its entirety.
Well done on creating a wonderful and lovely to read story
Lou Buggins chapter 1 . 12/12/2018
Wow! This is like...crazy good. I can tell you put in a lot of time into planning this and the results speak for themselves. You kept all the characters from being OOC, which is difficult to do in an AU. You also take a lovely twist onto the Teacher AU trope. So bravo for that! I’m in love with this story and I haven’t even made it past chapter one! XD Great job!
Guest chapter 6 . 7/4/2018
They don't speak Swahili in Nigeria. It is mostly spoken in East Africa not West Africa. I'm not trying to be a troll but I really hate it when people talk super vaguely about Africa and I can see you've done some research but I just want to let you know to avoid future error.
The Re-reader chapter 26 . 4/22/2018
So great! You could probably (with a few tweaks here and there to make it not Teen Titans related) make this into a TV show.
shubhijha2005 chapter 26 . 4/7/2018
This story was ADORBS! LOVED IT!
Azarath Cat chapter 26 . 3/28/2018
This is the only piece of FanFiction that truly made me laugh out loud and bawl my eyes out. It's truly beautiful and well structured. I can see why it's listed as one of the best ever BBRaes. I cannot fully describe how much I enjoyed the tale you spun, just know you have one more person who's in love with this story.
Guest chapter 20 . 12/26/2017
Oh yeah, he's very level headed.
M.Lalonde chapter 26 . 8/16/2017
Ohmygod its beautiful and I dont believe

Estoy llorando en tres idiomas diferentes...
Beautiful Jade chapter 26 . 8/8/2017
After re-reading this story for the upteenth time, I just wanted to let you know that this story is so beautiful in so many ways. The first way is the emphasis of family. In this story family is more than just a biological thing, it's a relationship thing. The main focus of the story is in fact the librarian's children. With Rachel and Gar's relationship being secondary. The second is the gradual progression in Gar and Rachel's relationship in terms of friendship and romance. Gar's character as a whole is something that I truly adore! His feelings for Rachel were genuine but his feelings for the children and their well-being were genuine as well. He put his feelings on the back burner and continued to impact them children because he honestly cared for them. The third aspect is the reality of the financial situation that Rachel was in. That some people only have means to barely get by. When most people write AUs, regardless of any fandom, the main characters tend to live lashishly. Whether they start off that way or end that way. In this story, they didn't go off and buy a huge house or anything like that. They put the money towards education and I'm pretty sure towards other necessities. Lastly, I appreciate the cameos of other DC characters throughout the story. I love how you incorporated some events from the show.

I can understand why you don't write anymore. Although my stories weren't the greatest (considering the fact that I was in 8th grade when I wrote them), life happens, reality sets in. You have your own eventual dream of being published and by all means go for it! Your writing is exceptional and you can truly understand each character. I wish you the best of luck of in all of your future endeavors!
Guest chapter 2 . 1/22/2017
This is beautifully written. It gave me a sense of nostalgia that I can't shake...
