Author has written 13 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender, Teen Titans, Redwall, Naruto, Steven Universe, and My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア. Call me Chad. I'm 28 years old, and I read a lot of books. Apparently, I write characters like James Joyce and Action like Chuck Palahniuk. Whoever that last guy is. Contact Me: My Main Tumblr - Mostly Fandom, part SJ, Decidedly anti-vegan. My Writing Blog - Ask me questions about characters! Bug me about my update schedule!! My Fics: Flesh- Kataangst. A compromising situation puts Katara and Aang's relationship in turmoil. Will it survive? Complete. I'm personally kind of ashamed of this, but you guys like it so \o_O/ Mindscape- Teen Titans. Beast Boy falls victim to his animal instincts again, but even after the danger is no more, he doesn't shift back. Concerned, Raven and Cyborg enter his mind to help him. Complete. Territory- The Rewrite of Mindscape. In-Progress. Unyielding- Sequel to Mindscape. Raven's turn to be the focus of a fic. This time, it's a bit more... something or other, I can't say much. The Tale of Ash- As said above, Brian Jacques (RIP )': ) has been the greatest influence on my writing, so I felt I should dip into his world a bit, just to see if I can. I'm trying to hold to the Brian Jacques format as closely as possible, while simultaneously seeing how far I can stretch it from the source. Also, there likely won't be any random breaking into song. I am often annoyed by that in his books. On Hiatus. Crisis on Infinite Avatarverses- A bunch of AU Drabble-type things. Usually involve genderbending. Updated as I gain inspiration. Hold and Yield- Theoretically, The first Fics I'd have written for The Legend of Korra. And they'd have been smut. I'm not sure if they'd have been canon to each other, and if they were, I'm not sure which one would have come first (ha ha). But I don't write smut. If I did, they'd be on my A03. *cough* Legacy: A semi-dark AU of Avatar: The Last Airbender that explores the idea of Katara taking on a role other than "mother." By-Path Meadow- Second sequel to Mindscape, involving the return of Terra and what this means for Beast Boy and Raven's relationship. Also, taking all the "OC joins the Titans" cliches and doing them right. Things I Have in the Works: Something for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Don't know what yet. Something for Code: Lyoko. Don't know what yet. On Reviews Okay, let's be honest here: I like reviews. Seriously. Everyone does. And it's not (only) because I have a huge ego. I've found that no good writer likes his work. I'm serious here. General Havoc, who writes the badass and awesome fic known as The Measure of A Titan, is very self-depreciating, and he's at least a hundred times the author I am. The reason we (or maybe just me) write is because the fans want us (or me) to. For example Mindscape has the most hits and reviews of all my stories. The most reviewed chapter is the fifth, where 516 people read, and 12 reviewed. When I see that, I think "so many people read, and only 12 cared enough to write something?" It's disheartening. And while I continue to write, it's in the back of my mind that such a small percentage of the readership care enough, and since I'm only writing for twelve people, I'm not as motivated as I could be. Nobody wants that. Now, I'm not trying to guilt you into reviewing; neither am I going to become a "review whore" who writes for the attention. I write because I love to write and want to get better at it. Tell me how I can get better. What you like, what you dislike. Give me a reason to strive to be better. Click that button at the bottom of every chapter and inform me. Addendum: I love each and every one of you who review. Don't get me wrong here. But a lot of the reviews I (and almost everyone) get are the standard "I love this! Write more!" with varying levels of Caps Lock. I'm not insulting anyone here, the fact that you take the time to tell me that you're reading is a blessing in and of itself. Thing is, my goal here is to become a better writer, which cannot be done if I don't get some criticism. Also, if you keep pleasuring a writer's ego, he soon becomes a douchebag of the highest order. Please don't make me into one of them. Mistakes I See All the Time That Bug the Hell Out of Me Because I'm A Grammar Nazi: First of all: alot. That is all. Breathe is a verb. Breath is a noun. Lightning is electricity that falls from the sky. Lightening is the act of becoming lighter. You wreck objects. You wreak havoc. You defiantly stand against the tyranny of a madman. You definitely know that the sky is blue. You go down an alley. Any "going down" when referring to an ally requires the word "on," unless this is some kind of "Journey Into the Human Body" plot. Than implies comparison (Bigger than, faster than). Then implies time (Do this, then do that).
