On Superheroes

Love, love, love. I’m one of those geeky people who gets chills from seeing a preview for a superhero movie. I would love to be a superhero, I really would. I’d be willing to deal with all the responsibility that comes with it.

On God

I’m a practicing Roman Catholic. Enough said.

On Reviews

I’m guilty of reading and not reviewing. I don’t expect everybody who reads my stories to review. I love to know somebody’s enjoyed my writing, but if you ever catch me begging for reviews, slap me.

On Sleep

I love to sleep. I could sleep all day. The only problem? The whole "falling asleep" part. I’ve always had trouble with that.

On Animals

I’ve become a real animal lover over the past few years (blame it on the adorable little bunny I adopted). Bunnies are, naturally, my favorite – but I also am very fond of marine life. When I was younger I planned on being a marine biologist. I especially love orcas; they’re gorgeous! I could spend all day watching them…

On Travel

There are so many places I want to go! I’ve been blessed enough to visit some of these places already, but there are so many more on my list.

On Profanity

In everyday life, I use it VERY rarely. I use it a bit more in my stories, but it’s still quite rare. I can’t stand people whose every other word is the big F. Seriously? You can’t think of any other noun/verb/pronoun/adjective/adverb, etc. to use instead? No? Then you’re just stupid.

That was a bit harsh, yes? Ah well…

On Education

~sigh~ There are so many flaws in today’s education system. I think learning is fantastic, don’t get me wrong. I just feel like things aren’t being done as well as they could be. I have yet to decide if my children will be public schooled, private schooled, home schooled or some mixture thereof. That’s a decision I definitely don’t look forward to making.

On Alcohol

Not a big fan. Drunk = Stupid

If you get drunk enough, you’ll end of doing something you regret. End of story.

On Drugs

Why? Give me one good reason to use drugs? As an escape? Trust me, I can find much better ways to relax that don’t involve poisoning my body.

On Abortion

A serious one here, people…

I am adamantly pro-life. If you’re "mature" enough to have sex, you sure as hell better be mature enough to have a child. Most people don’t seem to realize this, but the actual purpose of sex is to produce offspring. If you make the decision to have sex with someone, you better make sure it’s someone you’re able and willing to have a child with. Once a woman becomes pregnant, even by accident, her life ceases to be hers. Once you’re pregnant, your sole purpose is to take care of the life within you. The idea of a woman becoming pregnant, and then claiming it’s her body, so she has the right to abort…It makes me sick. (In case you didn’t read it earlier – I am female.)

On Kindness

Why is everybody so mean to each other nowadays? It even makes the nice people look bad because it makes them seem like naïve imbeciles! How unfair is that? I try to be nice to everybody, unless they give me a good reason not to be. You dropped a bag coming out of the grocery store? I’ll pick it up for you, no problem. Sweet old man can’t find the right kind of toothpaste? I’ll help him find it, sure. It’s really true – doing stuff to make somebody else happy will make you happy. It’s also worth noting that it’s incredibly hard to make me really angry. I have times when I’m easily annoyed, or want to be alone. But you must have done something seriously wrong if I’m yelling at you.

On Shopping Carts

Put away the shopping carts, people. Walk the extra ten steps and push it into the little cart corral. Just do it. No excuses. I don’t care if it’s raining, if you’re late for a funeral, whatever. Put it away!

On Food

I swear I’m only writing this one because I’m hungry. _ I love food! It’s delicious! Tragically, I’m also a bit of a picky eater since my stomach can be a slightly unpredictable with new/unusual/interesting foods. Will it keep the food, or will it return it - without a receipt?

That was the worst metaphor/analogy ever…slightly gross, too. So sorry about that, anyone who actually has nothing better to do than read this. (You really have nothing better to do? Goodness – why aren’t you out collecting all those stray shopping carts? Sheesh…)

On the Teen Titans

Robin – I was a big Batman fan before I discovered Teen Titans, so I do have a bit of a soft spot for the boy wonder. He really is quite cool in the show! Some Bat-fans aren’t crazy about Robin, they say he’s not serious enough for Bats. Oh well sure, compare a kid to the brooding Bruce, of course he’s going to seem like a happy-go-lucky moron. And yet, compare him to the other Titans, and he is definitely the most serious. I doubt anybody could even come close to having as big a stick up their butt as Bruce does. (I mean that in the sweetest way possible –really.)

In summary – I love Rovin. I love Batman. Batman and Robin together? Freakin’ awesome.

Starfire – I would get along so well with her! We both love cute things and can be overly mushy - but you don’t want to make us mad. Granted, I’m not quite as good at beating people up as she is. Starfire makes me smile, and she’s absolutely adorable.

Cyborg – He totally rocks my world. He makes me laugh more often than any other Titan (Sorry, BB!). We have a very similar sense of humor. His voice actor did a fantastic job.

Beast Boy – He’s definitely the best grass stain I’ve ever known. I absolutely love him to death.

Raven – Possibly my favorite Titan, although I really, really wouldn’t want to have to pick a favorite. Please don’t make me. Why do I like her so much? She’s very easy for me to relate to. It’s hard for us to trust anyone. We don’t like showing our emotions because we don’t want people to know how to affect us.

Terra - I call myself a Beast Boy / Raven shipper. That doesn’t mean I hate Terra. I like her very much. I understand why Beast Boy and Terra’s relationship happened, and I understand why she betrayed them. Don’t expect her to show up in any of my fics as an evil bitch.

On Pairings

I suppose most of my ships are fairly canon. Obviously, I’m a big supporter of Beast Boy and Raven, though I support BB/Terra for the short time they were "together". I think Robin and Starfire belong together. I can maybe see why people ship Robin and Raven – but only in a world where Star and BB never existed. I’m not sure about Cyborg yet, but I do like the idea of him ending up with Bumblebee. She’s got so much spunk, and I think he would need that in a girl. Of course I can’t ignore him and Jinx – but I love Jinx and Kid Flash together.

A bigger issue - who do I think Batman should end up with? That is the impossible question, isn’t it? Naturally, I think he should end up with me…but I won’t be holding my breath.

Crack Pairings – There’s a 5 chance of them being amusing, a 95 chance of them being very, very, very disturbing.
