This is the epilogue to Tower. If you recently read Tower before it was updated note that two new chapters and this epilogue have been updated. Chapter 25 is the first of the two newest chapters.

"How do I look dudes?" Beast Boy asked, strutting around the common room in front of Robin and Cyborg. He wore a pair of black slacks, shoes, and tie with a dark purple button-up shirt. He held a black dress coat over his shoulder, held by two fingers, and walked like he was on a catwalk. "Hot, right?" he added with a wink.

"Get your fancy-shmancy green butt outta the way." Cyborg said grumpily, leaning forward to push aside his friend to have full view of the television again.

"You look great Beast Boy." Robin remarked. "Cyborg's still mad over his date getting cancelled so don't mind him." Robin paused for a moment. "You're still thinking of asking her tonight, right?"

"Yeah, even though I know you don't agree." Beast Boy said patting his coat pocket to make sure that that special "something" was still firmly in place. Suddenly the doors opened up and revealed a very dressed up Raven. She wore knee-length dark blue gown that glittered in the light and showed off her very nice figure. It was a scoop-neck that didn't go too low and was accented with a nice blue pendant on a silver chain that Beast Boy had bought her for her birthday after they had started going out. Her medium-length hair was in a nice up-do and had a couple of pins with tiny blue flowers on them that Starfire had managed to get in her hair. She wore no earring since she still had yet to pierce them (and probably never would). On her feet was a pair of silver sandals with an inch of heel to them.

"Is someone feeling short today?" Beast Boy said gleefully, trotting over to give her a kiss on the top of her head. He was now a good head taller than her, something he loved to point out. All of the Titans had gotten taller in fact, though Raven stayed the shortest at 5'3" with Beast Boy at 5'8".

"She looks most wonderful." Starfire warned, having been walking behind Raven. Her 6'3" frame seemed to tower over the changeling more than usual.

"Well, duh. That's just a given." Beast Boy said, wrapping his arms around Raven's petite shoulders. She gave him a soft smile and a roll of her eyes. "Later dudes!" And with that said, they both headed out of the common room, the doors automatically swishing closed behind them.

"Come Silkie, it is time for your bath." Starfire said to beloved pet who had been napping in Robin's lap. He was still a plump little thing but over the years he had also changed, losing some body fat, growing wings, and turning a darker shade of pink with yellow spots. Upon hearing his name, Silkie gave off a big yawn and stretched out his clear wings before fluttering into the air and over to Starfire. Both left out the common doors as well, heading towards the bathroom leaving Robin and Cyborg alone. A couple of minutes passed as they both continued to watch TV. When a commercial came on Cyborg muted it.

"I still don't understand why you're not supportin' B." he said, giving Robin a questionable stare.

"It's not that I don't support him, it's that I know Raven." Robin replied. "It's not her type of thing."

"She's known for a while that he's wanted it though. I think she loves him enough that she'll do it."

"I'm sure given enough time she could be convinced."

"Enough time?! They've dated for 4 years now and are practically married already." Cyborg pointed out. "B's not gonna wait any longer to ask her."

"I just can't see Raven wanting to force herself to go through that circus because you know Beast Boy is going to want to do everything. The dressing up, being surrounded by tons people, taking pictures, showing off Raven—"

"Stop being a wet blanket." Cyborg interrupted. "It's all gonna work out fine, you'll see. She'll do it because she loves the green-bean and wants to make him happy."

Robin sighed. "I sure hope so."

A silver car (with a bit of Cyborg's tech peeking out) made a left-hand turn down a semi-busy street. Inside sat Raven and Beast Boy with the latter behind the wheel. Raven had a serene look to her as she gazed out the passenger-side window. Beast Boy looked over at her and a grin came over his face.

"What are you grinning at?" Raven asked, continuing to stare outside.

"Just thinking back when you were first teaching me to drive." He laughed when Raven gave a visible shutter and the radio dial twisted madly before stopping on a polka-themed station. Beast Boy calmly stopped for a stop sign and reset their previous 'tuneage'.

"I didn't know someone could be so bad at driving until I actually saw you drive."

"Oh come on, I wasn't that bad."

Raven shot him a look. "You ran me over."

"I wasn't even in the car!"

"And why was that?"

The changeling gulped uncomfortably. "Because I fell out the sunroof after flipping the car taking a right-hand turn."

"And what did the car do after it ran me over?"

Beast Boy sighed. "It ran into the side of the jail and exploded, freeing a dozen bad guys. I thought you had forgiven me for this already?"

"I did. I'm just emphasizing why I don't like to remember that time."

"But you looked so cute in your sparkly pink helmet and pads." Beast Boy grinned, recalling the safety gear Cyborg had offered Raven. It was either wear the horrid items or ride unprotected with Beast Boy. She decided on the lesser of the two evils.

"Another reason why I want to forget that time." she remarked, as Beast Boy turned into a parking lot, found a spot, and turned off the car. "But yes, you have come far."

"I think we have come far." he said, leaning over the center console to peck his half-demoness on the lips.

"I would agree." Raven said. "Four years ago if you had done that, I would have turned you into ash."

"Then I should take full advantage, shouldn't I?" Beast Boy grinned, leaning over with the intention of starting a deeper kiss.

"Don't you start." Raven said, pushing his face away with the palm of her hand. "We'll end up missing dinner again. I skipped lunch so I'm starving."

"But Raaaaae…" Beast Boy pleaded with his big puppy-dog eyes.

"If you don't get me a steak right now, I will eat your arm."

"Okay then—time for dinner!" Beast Boy jumped out of the car to the other side to open Raven's door. She got out and accepted Beast Boy's offered arm.

Soon they were through the doors, past the hostess stand, and seated at one of the restaurant's nicest tables—a perk of being protectors of the city. The table was secluded but not so much that they couldn't see the other patrons in the restaurant. It had just enough privacy that no one could listen to their conversations.

Raven picked up one of the menus the hostess had placed on the table and started perusing the food. "Any idea what you want?" she asked casually.

"Yeah I—" Suddenly Beast Boy's mouth went dry as a thought past through his mind. His eyes bulged and he began coughing. Absolutely he knew what he wanted. He wanted Raven to say yes to a very important question that had been plaguing him for quite some time now. He hadn't been nervous the entire week leading up to their date but suddenly the fear of her saying no filled his mind. She had already once before. He had never told Cyborg and Robin about that. It had been early in their relationship and Beast Boy thought things were going so well that out-of-the-blue he asked her. She said no, obviously, but had told him that maybe in a couple of years she would be willing but not now when their relationship was still in its infancy. So he had waited.

"Are you alright?" Raven asked, pushing his glass of water closer to him to take a drink. He did and his coughing calmed down.

"Yeah, sorry 'bout that." Beast Boy said, taking another gulp of water. Why was he so nervous? If she said no again, he would just wait some more. She had never said it was something she never saw herself doing in a million years (at least not after she had started dating him). She just needed time to be comfortable with the idea. Once she said yes, there was no taking it back.

Raven glanced over at Beast Boy in a curious manner. His emotions were bouncing all over the place and even with the amount of time she spent with him, they still continued to confuse her sometimes, like now. Her full attention was on Beast Boy, only drifting for a moment to the waitress to give her order.

"Are you sure you're okay?" she questioned again. "Your mind seems…troubled."

"Haha you know me, can't figure out what all these fancy utensils are for." Beast Boy replied, picking up one of the closest forks to his hand. "Seriously, why do I need two sets of knives and forks when I only have two hands?"

"One set is for appetizers, and the other is for the main meal." Raven replied, not missing a beat.

"What about dessert?"

"They clear the table and bring you more." They continued to make small talk and Beast Boy began to feel a lot better just talking with Raven. The half-demon seemed to notice this and her curiosity diminished and she began to enjoy herself more. They both got salads, Raven stealing all of Beast Boy's olives and refusing to give up any of her croutons. After that the main meal came.

"One of these days I'm definitely going to turn you into a vegetarian." Beast Boy remarked, eating his three cheese ravioli.

"Not unless the world runs out of steak." Raven said, cutting a huge bite of her rare steak and savoring the taste in her mouth. She had found over the years that her instinct in devouring flesh had increased, something that Cyborg celebrated and Beast Boy wept over.

"It could happen. Unlikely, but I am very persuasive." Beast Boy said, wiggling his eyebrows. "I got you to go out with me and I even got you to—"

"More water sir?" the waitress asked, cutting the green man off.

"Oh, yes please." Beast Boy handed his cup to the waitress who refilled it and left the two alone again. It was quiet between the two and Beast Boy felt the little box in his suit suddenly feel like it was burning a hole through. He took a deep breath and decided now was the time to ask before the waitress returned to see how they were doing.

"Listen Rae, we've been going out for what? 4 years now?"

"4 years, 7 months." Raven corrected.

"Yeah, so everything's been really great and you know I love you, right?" Suddenly Raven felt a change in the conversation that had been so light and fun before. Beast Boy had become serious, more focused and that scared Raven a little bit.

"Of course I know you love me, why are you even questioning that?" she asked, very concerned over his question.

"I'm not, I mean, I've just been thinking. Thinking about something important. About us." Suddenly Raven lost her appetite and felt her stomach drop. Was he…trying to break up with her? There was no other explanation as to why there would be something important about her he was thinking about. Stars began appearing in front of Raven's eyes as her world spun.

"Raven, I love you so much and you really do mean the world to me." Beast Boy began, taking her hand in his. "I know we've worked towards being completely honest towards one another, no secrets, no hiding things, and that's why I need to say this."

"Beast Boy I—" Raven tried to cut him off, already feeling the tears coming to her eyes.

"Shh, just let me speak." Beast Boy hushed. "I-I just need to say this before my confidence disappears and I'm just stuck with regret for the rest of my life." Raven felt her heart break. Regret? He would regret it if he didn't break up with her and was stuck with her for the rest of his life?

"We've been so happy these past years. You've taken me to the library to get some culture forced into me and I've taken you to the arcade to get your butt-whooped in front of a crowd." Beast Boy smiled slightly. "It's been so much fun being your boyfriend, but that part of our lives is coming to a close." At least as boyfriend and girlfriend. Beast Boy thought. I can't wait to be your husband.

Raven, however, took his meaning completely differently as she thought it confirmed her theory of him breaking up with her. Behind them, the bottles of wine began to rattle on their shelves as Raven tried to hold in her emotions.

Beast Boy took a deep breath. "So, Raven, my love, I have one question for you." When he pulled out a small little box from his jacket pocket, Raven suddenly forgot how to breathe.

"Will you, Raven," Standing up from his chair, Beast Boy kneeled to the ground in front of his purple-haired beauty. "do me the honor of being—"

He opened the box.

"—my companion at the comic convention this year?" Inside the box were two tickets, her name on one, his on the other.

WHACK!

"OW!" Beast Boy nursed the new bruise on top of his head. "What was that for?"

"I thought you were breaking-up with me!" Raven hissed, dark energy crackling around her as her rage was palpable. "But no, you were just trying to ask me to the comic convention!"

"What?! Break-up with you?!" Beast Boy exclaimed, his injury forgotten. "Why the hell would you think that?"

"You started questioning if I knew you loved me, said you had regrets, and told me you were thinking about something important about us. Obviously you weren't asking me to marry you again." She held up her left hand where a sparkly diamond ring sat on her ring finger. Beast Boy smiled when he saw it—he always smiled when he saw it. It reminded him that Raven had said yes to marrying him 7 months ago on their anniversary. The ring had a band that looked like frosted glass with the highest cut diamond on top.

It was a specially crafted ring that had taken him months to think of and create. The other Titans had helped as well. The band itself was a precious metal from another planet. Starfire had retrieved that for him when she had made a visit to Tamaran to escort Galfore to Earth so he could be there for her wedding to Robin. They had been dating for barely two years when Robin had popped the question (shocking everyone and declaring no winner in betting pool the other Titans had set up—the lowest bet had been 5 years). They were married a year and a half later when all the other Titans, non-Titan superheroes, friends, and family could make it. Starfire had wanted to share her special day with as many people/beings as possible. Blackfire had even attended and hadn't caused trouble, her latest boyfriend having convinced her to make peace with her sister. Who knew Red X cared so much about family bonds? Blackfire had remained calm throughout the whole wedding—except for almost tearing Tammy in half for catching the bouquet.

Cyborg had helped to shape the metal and had even added in his own special touch—a miniscule tracking device so if Raven had ever lost the ring in battle (or if she was kidnapped somehow) then it (and her) would be easy to find. Jinx had been extremely helpful as well. She found a spell that Cyborg inscribed inside the ring that would cause the ring to only be able to be touched by the wearer themselves (i.e. Raven) when it was on their finger. That meant during battle, it would phrase through anything that came in contact with it allowing it to remain undamaged. When it wasn't on her finger then it could be touched by anyone, thus allowing Beast Boy to place it on her finger in the first place.

Robin had requested the same spell be put on Starfire's ring after she broke the first 9—both in battle and just going about her daily business. Silkie had eaten it quite a few times too but it did come back—eventually. Robin had allowed Beast Boy to use his "buy 10 engagement diamonds, get 1 free" coupon to get Raven's diamond. It was a ridiculous coupon the owner had distributed as a joke, never intending for it to actually be redeemed. However, the coupon never explicitly said it was a joke nor that it couldn't be accepted, thus the owner was forced to accept it. However, after Beast Boy had told the media he had gotten it at his store (after asking Raven of course), the owner was so thrilled with the amount of purchases he received afterwards that he told the Titans they could have anything they wanted in the future. Robin was pretty mad at himself for not thinking about that in the first place.

"Oh dang, sorry Rae!" Beast Boy said, coming out of his thoughts and leaning forward to embrace his fiancée in a quick hug. "I didn't mean to make you think that!"

"Why didn't you say 'thinking something about us' instead of just me?" Raven questioned, eyebrow raised. "Since you go every year to the convention?"

"Well, I want us to go this year as a couple." Beast Boy explained nervously. "Err, a costumed couple."

"Ah." Raven said in a monotone. "I see. You want me to go in costume."

"Come on Rae, it'll be fun!" he exclaimed. "We don't have to do everything—I just want you there more than seeing all the stupid booths and doing all the lame events." he added, trying to downplay his desire to see and do everything the convention offered.

"No." Raven said sharply, her arms crossed.

"No?" Beast Boy ears drooped in disappointment. "But—!"

"No, we are not skipping any of those stupid booths and we're doing all the lame events your little kid heart desires." Raven clarified as she put her hands on Beast Boy's shoulders. She gave him a soft smile. "I will not have you have any regrets—and knowing you, you'll complain for the next year about missing some 'amazing' comic author meet-and-greet or a game prototype you could have gotten the high score on at the convention."

Beast Boy let out a laugh as he pulled Raven into a tight hug. "How did I get such a great woman to love me?"

"Dumb luck—I believe you're chock-full of it." Raven replied back, as she looked into Beast Boy's eyes, leaning forward to kiss him briefly on the lips. "Or possibly the ears."

"It's always the ears." Beast Boy said, wiggling them. He leaned forward to capture Raven's lips in a more passionate kiss.

"You do realize this little evening you planned to ask me to a comic convention was much more romantic than how you actually proposed to me, right?" Raven said, after they had stopped the kiss and sat back down at their table.

"But my proposal was more personal!" Beast Boy shot back.

"Yes, because every girl wants the words 'marry me' written backwards on her forehead in red marker."

"Ah come on, that's our thing!"

"And I had to find out from Starfire practically shattering both my eardrums and spinal column that it was there."

"Well, if you had looked in the mirror or woken me up like you usually do in the morning then it wouldn't have been a problem." the changeling pointed out.

"I didn't need to look in the mirror and I would have woken you up had I not decided to cook you a special breakfast to eat in bed for our anniversary." After numerous lessons, a thorough tour of the kitchen, and an introduction to a cookbook, Raven's cooking skills had flourished so much that she was now the best overall cook in the Tower (besides grilling meat which Cyborg was still the champion of). Becoming a better cook had given her a lot of added bonuses: she could squash the 'meat vs. vegetarian' war between Cyborg and Beast Boy by making both dishes simultaneously; she and Starfire could share their love of cooking together by creating the most savory (and unsavory) dishes around; and her favorite benefit of all was being able to bribe Robin with oatmeal raisin cookies to get out of extra training.

Oddly enough she still always managed to burn salads.

"Okay, okay, well the next time I propose I'll set an alarm clock, 'kay?" Beast Boy joked, grinning like an idiot.

"Oh, well in that case if you're planning on taking on multiple wives then I suppose it's only fair if I get another husband or two." Raven countered, her expression set in a serious demeanor.

"Rae! You know I didn't mean it like that!"

"I wonder if Aqualad would be interested…" she thought out loud, knowing she was getting under Beast Boy's skin. Said changeling leaned across the table to clasp her hands in his own.

"Raven, you are my one and only. I love only you and want to marry only you. No other woman on this planet or the next could even compete with you." He kissed her knuckles.

"Good." Raven said sternly before softening. "I love you too."

"Good." Beast Boy parroted, leaning forward to kiss her once again. He could never get enough of her kisses and she felt the same with him. At least, as long as he was human. She hated when he was a dog and gave her puppy tongue kisses.

"Now, get me some chocolate cake." the purple-haired beauty ordered when the kiss ended. "It will help me cope with the loss of my dignity when I allow you to dress me up in whatever horrid costume you want for this convention we're going to." Beast Boy laughed and grinned.

"Yes mistress Raven."

Hooray! Tower is officially completed! This story has been written over the course of an entire decade, but I'm glad I never gave up on it. Sure it has major hiatuses, but I had fun writing it over the years and I hope you all enjoyed it as well.

Please review, have a nice day, and enjoy some fun facts about when this story started and now:

When this story started (Nov 4, 2004) I was 16 years old in my sophomore year of high school. I had never had any experience with guys other than having them as peers in my classes, and I shielded my eyes from any romantic parts in movies. I still used floppy disks to save my homework and chapters, Justin Bieber had just hit his first double digit birthday, and the Red Sox had finally broken the Curse of the Bambino. Season 3's The Beast Within was the most recent Teen Titans' episode to have aired, though the first chapter was primarily written after Spellbound. I knew nothing of the prophecy of Raven's birth nor Beast Boy's real name.

Now I'm 26 (27 in a couple months) with a job and a loving husband. Not only has the Teen Titans' series been concluded for several years now, but they have developed a crazy spin-off series, Teen Titans Go!, that's already in its 3rd season. I don't think I could even find a floppy disk and probably some of you reading this don't even know what one is. I still look away during romantic parts in movies. Some things will never change.
