Author has written 3 stories for Twilight, Star Trek: 2009, and Supernatural. Hi!! I'm an overworked, 21 year old, college graduate who has obtainined my Bachelor's Degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology. I'm gay, and if that bothers you, I'm sorry. I love slash, because it gives me hope and makes me squee inside. I love all of ya'll and hope you're well. So you'll notice that I have over 2000 stories on my favorite stories list, but only a few authors on my favorite authors list. I love stories from everywhere, every fandom, etc. But only certain writers have that necessary spark to hold my enraptured interest through multiple stories, or even longer multi-chaptered stories. These are the truly praiseworthy. If an author is on my favorite authors list, it means that he or she consistently writes stories that I enjoy. A one-off story is not good enough (usually) to put someone on that exclusive list. If you want to be on my favorite authors list, send me a message with a link to your profile and I'll read your stories. If I like them, I'll let you know by praising reviews and your addition to my favorite authors list. I love stories from most fandoms, but there are just some fandoms I wish there were more stories in. These are mainly slash pairings. I am both a Twi-hard, and a Potter nerd. And, Remus and Sirius are my OTP. Well, and anything with Em or Jazz. I can rationalize any two characters being together, but only certain characters can stay together. This is why I am decidedly against most Bella/Edward stories. They are wrong for each other. Usually. It takes a great writer to save them from the hole SM got them into in my mind. I know this and you know this, but SM didn't. Sure, they're canon, but their relationship in the books would not have gone that way. He hurt her; she should not have taken him back. If they are human, both human, then they can make a great couple, but vampire E and human B do not a good couple make. I'm sorry if this offends anybody, but this is why when you look at my favorite stories there are no Bella/Edward stories. (Okay, a couple, but I digress.) Well, that and the fact, I'm constantly pairing him up with Jasper, so :). I SHIP DRARRY. I don't know what it is, but as opposed to the above... "They are perfect for each other." If Harry is going to be with anyone other than Ginny, (who I'm not too fond of), he should be with Hermione or Draco. Anyway, I love slash. It may be a byproduct of the fact that I read what my fantasies include, or it could be the fact that I think two men just have that little something extra, don't you think? [Shameless Legally Blonde quote, sorry :)] I love the fact that so many writers understand what its like to be gay (whether from personal experience or otherwise) in this generation, and so many of them capture that essence beautifully in their stories. These stories move me to tears and I love all these authors for how well they capture something so close to me. I must now, of course, mention the wonderful Rosmarina for her incredibly passionate and beautiful story Potential. It's on my favorite stories. Check it out. Also, Trip And Fall by QuirkQuirk is a brilliant masterpiece. Check it out, too. You have just got to look at Guiding Eyes by the beautiful MrsAgget. |
