One of the best one shots I've read in my life.

Incredible fic. It had a nice touch of angst, and it was very believable, especially Castiel's family. I like your characterization of Gabriel, he was the perfect, caring, albeit often joking, big brother and was very sweet. I was confused a bit about Anna, but I'm guessing that when the family and her had their argument, she never went back so she never met Dean and Sam? And also, I had not realized that they'd moved xD. Other than those things, this was pretty great.

For some reason I didn't realize that you had used Dido's lyrics for this story before I eventually read the chorus... Smooth! And other than that - how come I haven't read any stories with Castiel being a part of a ridiculously Christian family until now? That plotline is just too good not to use!

I'm not sure why I liked this story. There was so much angst and not enough details of their past, but I really liked it. In other AU stories, the writer has Castiel and Dean as happy. This is the first story I have read where Cass is religious and gay and in trouble. This was a nice story and I enjoyed it a lot.
