THE SKELLINGTONS

The Skellingtons is a Nightmare Before Christmas story that is a series of one-shots based around Jack, Sally, and their five children. The one-shots jump around in time but with each new chapter I've included the ages of the children in that particular chapter so as not to confuse you.

I am currently writing it, and updates will be more sporadic (even more than they are now) because I'm working on my new Captain America fic (see below), but I definitely have not abandoned the story!

IN THE STILL OF THE NIGHT

I have posted my new Captain America story, called In the Still of the Night! Here's some info on it:
-It is a multi-chapter story; I'm not sure exactly how long it will be but we're looking at 30 chapters based on my (long) outline.
-I'm not really a quick updater...honestly I wish I wasn't but there isn't really much I can do about that lol.
-The story will mainly focus on the relationship between Steve and Vera, my OC, but will also incorporate other characters from the movie-verse. Plus an Avenger or two may make an appearance later on in the story! ;)
-Fair warning, in future chapters there will be moderate violence, moderate language, and mild sexual content. But it's nothing too graphic, it's only rated T.
-I've tried to keep it canon with the Captain America movie-verse, but I've also incorporated a few things from the Marvel comics universe, and some things of my own invention. I'll try to keep it as canon as possible, but if something you read isn't canon then just bear with me.
-I love getting feedback (positive AND negative) so do not hesitate to review (even if it's a critique)!! If you don't feel like reviewing, you can PM me as well.

CHAPTER 1:

1. This is a website that constantly streams popular music from WWII. I've been using it to get inspiration for the names of all my chapters in the story, which, if you haven't noticed, are all song titles.

2. This is the blue outfit Vera was wearing when she met Steve in the museum.

3. Inspiration for Vera's hair color and length.

4. Vera's eye color.

5. Steve's outfit in the museum.

CHAPTER 3:

1. Inspiration for Michael's character, based on Q from the James Bond movies.

2. Steve's outfit (sans the baseball cap).

CHAPTER 5:

1. Vera's museum outfit.

2. An interesting article I used as research for what the Smithsonian basement looks like (it's worth a read).

CHAPTER 7:

1. Vera's date outfit.

2. Vera's jacket.

3. Steve's date outfit.

4. Steve's motorcycle.

5. Vera's house (the white one). These are real townhouses in Washington, D.C. and I especially liked the style of the white one in the middle. I imagine this is what Vera's street looks like, too.

6. Inspiration for the swing club. This is a real club called Swing 46 in New York and I really liked the style/colors of it so it served as the inspiration for The Victory Garden in my story.

CHAPTER 8:

1. Inspiration for Natasha's outfit in this chapter.

2. The Cafe that Natasha was sitting at. It's a real cafe in D.C.

CHAPTER 13:

1. The contents of the folder that Bucky found. I think this was part of a Blu-Ray special edition release or something, but I mostly based what the folder's contents were on this picture because it had a lot of documents I recognized from The First Avenger.

Also, I have a poem published (Breath of Harry [Lily's Song]), and a couple of contest entries too (I Don't Have It and Tabula Rasa). I also have an unfinished story on here called Lilyflower that I probably won't continue for a while. But feel free to check these fics out. :)
