Are you going to bring Harry's completely justified temper (in this case) into play here? Because all of your characters are indeed developing a Dumbledore retherotic, thought Dumbledore himself seems to have sliped on the straight and narrow. It would make so much more sense if Harry were to react badly to learning that his parents were alive and hiding. He's a hunter and preditor for a reason...

This is ridiculous.

Draco Malfoy has persistently taunted, harassed and mocked Harry and his friends for over six years, gloated over the ethnic cleansing being performed by Slytherin's monster, conspired to have innocent creatures killed to hurt Hagrid, boasted over Voldemort's return...and now Lily's standing up for him. This is idiocy, nevermind that Snape did nothing to curtail these attitudes and horrifically bullies his students just because he can.

Must every character in this fic regurgitate the rhetoric of Albus Dumbledore?

This entire thing is going to blow up in the Potters' faces. Harry will legitimately be pissed, but based on this you'll probably have him welcome them with open arms instead of entering a justifiably horrific rage.

Okay, I loved the two chapters. Especially the ending of each passage. You're good at keeping the suspense. The one thing I'd point out would be the part when Neville starts going out, then pauses by the door, and says thanks. That's a little cliché. Especially since Neville has got low self-confidence. The way I see it, he clutches to politeness because he's nervous about offending anyone. So, he'd say thank you almost at once. But, well.

I hope to read the next chapter soon.
