I hadn't read any "Lost" fanfic for a while, but when I saw that this was about Des and Penny, I just had to give it a go, I think they were far and away the best couple on "Lost". I'm also thrilled that you picked up on a moment from "Flashes Before Your Eyes", which is one of my favourite episodes. I just adore the whole idea of that photo "for the grandkids" being taken in front of a picture of a harbour in Hawaii, while they were supposedly standing on the South Bank of the Thames in London (incidentally very close to where they moored their boat in the Season 5 episode "Jughead"!), yet the whole thing was actually filmed in Hawaii. It just seems to sum up the craziness and confusion that was "Lost" and I'm glad you've written a fanfic that not only references the photo, but which also deals with what might have happened to Des, Penny and Charlie after the series finale. Well done!
