At first I thought that this shot was set before the movie, but I like the fact that Sally still has those days if self-pity and depression. Okay, well I actually don't but it makes for a great story and even better well there's a happy ending.
It's beautifully written and just so bitter until that sweetness happens at the end. I love it when people really do try to write for characters especially ones that have a limited backstory.

I hope to read more Jack and Sally from you in the future ;)

Oh, where a tissue when you need one? I was so worried about Sally at the beginning. Then of course, Jack to the rescue. Only someone like him could make a dark day better with his own warm light. Wonderful story. Simply brilliant. :')
