| felcatty chapter 27 . 1/20/2018 This story is super interesting and keeps me questioning what's going to happen all the way through, I love to analyse characters and even little story aspects, and I have to say that some things were quite surprising. So far my favourite part of this story was the court proceedings, made me feel like I was in the room with them. It was a very touching scenario. I wasn't expecting the outcome but the more I looked at it, if I were a neutral person who knew absolutely nothing, those plot holes are completely plausible. However, I do believe that Vlad overshadowed the jury at some point to help further the choice. I look forward to your next update to see how these events play out with the character's relationships, especially Ophelia's since she's essentially shutting herself down Can't wait for the next chapter Keep up the awesome work :D |

The evidence that Vlad killed Jack and Maddie, kidnapped and almost killed Ophelia was overwhelming and they still let him go?! I bet you anything that Vlad somehow blackmailed the jurors! | thewinnowingwind chapter 22 . 6/25/2014 I've been reading fan fiction for years. I've posted maybe 10 reviews in all that time (I know what a jerk, but eh). It is shocking to me how few reviews your story has in light of how good it was. It's fantastic! And I'm super picky and snobby when it comes to stories (I'm really not making myself look good here haha) but so many different elements in your story are so excellent, it's easily one of the best stories I've ever read on this website. The characterization is wonderful. I love adult Sam and Danny. Sam becoming a lawyer is spot on. And Ophelia is one of the few truly engaging and unique OCs I've ever come across. Rather than just being a young, brash, female version of Danny, she really stands out as her own believable character. Everything is so well thought out, Ophelia's unique biology, the infrastructure of the police departments, the bystander contract, even that little joke about finding Cujo during the dog days of summer. Your story is splendid and it's a delight to read. You have a real talent for writing! |
