Q: What got me interested in writing?

A: Well, it's sort of funny, because when I was in my first year of grade school I was completely unable to read. So I was held back a year, now while that sounds horrible to most currently in school, I'm grateful because due to being held back I excelled at reading by fifth grade, reading level at a sixth grade level. Now that doesn't sound all that impressive I know but taking into account that I couldn't read when I started and then become so well read that I was above expectation for my age/year. Once I could read, I found that I had a wild imagination and decided to write down whatever came to mind.

Q: Why write fanfiction?

A: Why not? I love anime, cartoons, and books/movies, so much so I began writing/imagining my favorite characters in new plots/situations & / or have a different Idea about how I would've liked one fight or encounter to have happened. I also starting wondering 'what if this character from this show met this other character from this other show' = Crossover) or 'what if the character(s) had this power/ability from other the character(s)' = AU

Example AU-Crossover 'What if the SnK(AoT) characters took on the roles of Tokyo Ghoul characters' or AU 'Elizabeth from The Seven Deadly Sins was Mirajane from Fairy Tale'

I love writing. I found it fun and relaxing. I remember, when I was still very young, writing randomness on the computer, most of them were AU stories of anime (I only knew them as cartoons back then, thanks 4kids) and shitty re-writes they were and not just because the plagiarism. But as I practiced writing more, I started making my own stories and characters and ideas. But I've got plenty of plot bunnies, fanfics and originals.

I had goals to become a writer, or maybe a Fashion Designer, or both. At one point I wanted to be a voice actor too. Then I got sick and those goals screeched almost harshly to a stop.

Q: What got you into anime?/What was your first anime?

A: My obsession with anime began when I was...13-15? when my friend at the time had me watch InuYasha (S1) with her. I loved it. Then she told me Sailor Moon was an Anime and I was amazed when I looked into it and realized not only was she right but that it, at the time, had a PG-13 rating. I laughed because I grew up watching the show starting at six years old. My mom just shook her head, dismissing it saying 'too late now'.

The anime I was exposed to after that was what 4kids played. Tokyo Mew Mew (Mew Mew Power on 4kids), Magical DoRiMe and Yu-Gi-Oh. Never watched much of the second one and I only watched it so I wouldn't miss TMM/MMP and Winx Club (not anime)
