Strange Relationship(pet project)

The Strange Relationship Series, focusing on some of my favorite anime and manga and the weird (read:strange) relationships therein, is going to be my new pet project. Though I likely won't finish it as I intend to. Though alot in this series just happens to be shounen-ai but not all of them will be, I'll have yaoi, yuri and if I can stomach it het. It will be a series about relationships between people who often infuriate one another but also for some reason love each other. I really would like to post these as separate stories in their respective genres but I don't think ff.n will let me get away with that. I'll try it and see what happens. If there are any pairings people would like me to do then let me know and I'll try to think about them if I've watched/read the series. I knew this would be a huge project that I wouldn't finish quickly but...damn...I underestimated it...So, the ones in bold are the stories I've begun working on and the only Italic one, Gokudera/Yamamoto is the only one that is actually finished, because 8059 currently owns every essence of my being.

Works in progress as of 6/11/2008 (2:15 a.m.)(all others I am either no longer working on due to lack of interest or I have completed and have yet to change status on)

Monochrome: Okay, so this one is just...UGH!...Not that I'm starved or lacking any inspiration but stuff happened. I usually write stories in ff.nets document manager so I can work on them no matter what computer I'm on. That being said, less than two days after the first chapter of this was up, I wrote up chapter two. AND I WAS FINISHED WITH IT!! So, wouldn't you know, just as I'm finishing up my comments at the end and feeling very smug for breaking my slow updating habit, but my internet connection cuts off just as I hit the save button. Because I'm a dumb as and I was talking to my friends as I was writing, I had forgot to save AT ALL throughout writing the entire thing...So...everything was gone...I nearly cryed...Like...literally. I'm still very heartbroken about it, because it takes me a while to sit down and just write what with school and work and everything in between so the fact that I cranked that chapter out and spent three hours doing it only to have it all go to waste...It just pisses me off so much that I haven't had the heart to go back and re-do it...I will though. I sat down a few weeks ago and wrote it out manually to try and recall the details that got deleted when I lost everything but it's slow going trying to finish the ending that I can't remember and anything else I try I'm not satisfied with. So...It's comming...just...bear with me please.

Shura: Well...This one is really based on my watching the anime and reading the manga since it relies soley on ideas I get from doing so. When theres something in a new chapter or new episode that intreagues or bothers me I'll write more, but since people don't seem to be interested in it, I'm not feeling rushed.

Tokyo Mew Mew La Dolce Vita: I've got about halfway through the new chapter! I realized that it had been a freakin' YEAR since I updated it...so...yeah. There should be an update before the new year.

Shijun no Zankoku: The next chapter of this is slow comming along. KHR is consuming my life at the moment so it's the fandom I'm most focused on. I'll get back to BSSM eventually but for now it's slow...

Snow Kiss: Still not High Priority

Gravitation: I have no idea where I'm going with this...I started brainstorming the other day, though and I might have a few chapters up in the comming weeks.

White Flag: I have to write myself out of the whole I...wrote...I don't know EXACTly where I'm going with it but hope

Shine: This is, again, one that not many people seem interested in, Oh well. I like the idea so I'll do it at my own pace.

Ties the Bind:Will prolly be one of the last that I work on in my mental wheel of priority, no one seems to interested in it so...

Do As Infinity: I'm really interested in starting this one up again. My brother just found like most of the series online so I started watching it on his website and got back into IY, thing is, I wrote out DAI by hand in high school. I'm looking for the folder I was keeping it in but it's slow going. As soon as I find it, I'll play around with it a bit and post the rest of the 20 chapters I had originally. I have a feeling that I know where it is but I can't get at it until I go home so...

FUTURE PROJECTS (titles may be amended, but note that these songs are what inspired the fics)

Unsafe Safe: I'm planning on doing more with this. Talking to one of the reviewers got me inspired by it so I'm going to add on, make it multi-chapter

Sanagi: Since the song is from the ending of Gintama, Sanagi shall be my first Gintama fic. The pairing is undecided, but I've got somewhat of a rough outline.

Signal: Probably the long overdue Gravitation fic that I've had in my head since I first read the manga about 5 years ago.

CRAWL: This might be a drabble series. My other KHR OTP D18.

Still Doll: This song...I just find so creepy...naturally, I have to use it to do a creepy AU, right? For which fandom though is a mystery

Ame Ato: Heh, couldn't resist. One of my favorite KHR themes? Of course, who does this go to but my OTP, 8059, epic-length TYL fic

Something I wonder if anyones noticed...The sheer amount of my stuff that takes it's title from Songs? Specifically theme songs from anime? I always listen to music when I write, so if I feel like a particular song inspired that peice I'll dedicate the fic to the song and takes it's title from there. :shrug: someone brought it up to me the other day and I just wondered if anyone had noticed it...
