I don't understand anything that happened in this fic. Sasuke's been interested in Naruto for a while, but instead of just telling him to his face, he gives an embarrassing interview where he publicly outs himself along with giving very personal details about his private life. Just so we're clear, publicly embarrassing himself was a better solution than confessing his feelings because...?

And then, instead of someone telling Naruto about the interview or simply handing him the magazine, they leave the magazine out on the table for two weeks waiting for him to find it and read it. Just so we're clear, that was a better solution than simply telling Naruto to read the magazine because...?

If all of that wasn't illogical enough, Naruto's reaction to the interview wasn't to punch Sasuke after rejecting him, or to jump his bones after accepting his feelings, it was to shriek and run away like an elementary school kid fleeing cooties. ...Only to give in the second Sasuke starts kissing him. What kind of hot and cold behavior is this?

Does Naruto want Sasuke, or does he not want Sasuke? Why does he say that Sasuke scares him? What kind of relationship did they have prior to the interview? There's no background or context to their relationship whatsoever in this fic. All we know about Naruto and Sasuke is that they are band mates. That's as much as we ever find out about them. I read the whole fic, and I still don't know how Naruto actually feels about Sasuke. One minute he's running away from him, the next he's kissing him back. Without context, his behavior makes no sense.

And finally, after holding back on his feelings for who knows how long, why does Sasuke suddenly turn into a predatory beast out to get Naruto no matter what? If he's that type of person, then why was he hesitating for so long? Beta males pine, but predators don't hesitate! That's the whole point of being a predator. If Sasuke is a predator, he would have gone after Naruto long ago. He definitely wouldn't have been fucking pining. I can't even argue that Sasuke was stalking his prey instead of pining because, again, we don't have enough context to their relationship to know what led up to Sasuke doing the revealing interview.

I really can't believe that such a mediocre, incomplete fic has over 200 reviews.

This borders on mature with Sasuke grabbing Naruto’s crotch. I don’t recall if you gave a little warning about sexual allusions or not, I passed out after reading the first AN and a few paragraphs then woke up a little while ago and decided since I have a doctors appointment at 11 it’s pointless to go to sleep again because I don’t know if my dad’ll wake me up around 9:30 or 10 for it. More than likely he will and I’ll end up sinking agin but idk right now I’m just enjoying fanfic lol. Man it’s been too long since I’ve read something let alone written anything. Might use the plot bunny from this for my own fic, probably Harry Potter, not sure yet.
