Author has written 67 stories for Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Ouran High School Host Club, Inuyasha, GunSmith Cats, Fairy Tail, Blue Seed, Warcraft, X-overs, and Mad Max. We are cousins, Liz (the original Habit) and Ma-Missy (the acting Habit) We are both (now) in our 30s. Liz has 1 surviving sibling, an older brother, while I (Missy) have 4 older brothers, 3 older sisters, and about 13 younger brothers and sisters. (what can I say, we’re half bunny—and yes, that’s a Zootopia crack...) What you may not know (more like Ma-MISSY-hasn’t told you) is that our families are very close after...after what happened to Liz’s twin. We packed everything up and moved back to the states to be with Auntie and the rest of the family. Sis’ death was a huge blow to our family and we will never recover from it. Even as I type, Liz has had to leave the room, but you guys deserve the truth. What truly caused the original Habit to stop writing...the death of her beloved twin sister, Aidan. Sis, as she was commonly called by everyone who knew her, passed away in a tragic car accident due to bad weather and even worse drivers. The story Liz has dedicated to Aidan is on this profile and it is called ’Letters to Heaven’. If you get a chance, please read it. Thank you for the love and support you have all given Liz. She has desperately needed it. Now, I’m going to pester her until she posts the fic she’s promised you guys. Later!! I know I haven’t been on in a while, but I just wanted to give you guys a little update on things. I am a nurse, and as such, I have been on the front lines throughout this entire COVID-19 disaster. It has been really hard to watch my friends and family worry about me constantly because of my job, and it has been equally hard to watch the families of those who have been infected. The amount of death and despair is enough to depress anyone, but this whole thing struck really close to home when Liz (the original Habit) was rushed to the hospital with symptoms of COVID-19 infection. As most of her devoted fans know, Liz has had major medical problems all her life. She’s a transplant recipient on top of everything else she’s had going against her. Liz was hospitalized with COVID-19 back in March, and there for a bit, we weren’t certain she was going to make it. However, I am happy to announce that she is now fully recovered and was discharged on July 1st. She is now home, and I have been reassigned (by my own boss mind you) as her personal in-home care nurse. This means that we are both now out immediate danger and, HOPEFULLY, will be able to give you some much deserved stories!! *insert crowds cheering here* Ok, now that I have let y’all know what was going on, I’m zippin off. I have medicines to administer and a cousin to torment. *evil cackle* Just made a poll for you guys to vote if you want a sequel for a story. It will be difficult, since it’s one of my stories from...well, yeah. Anyways, just putting this out there, but if you want a sequel for something, message me with the title of the story you’d like a sequel for, that way I can put it to a poll. I put a lot of time and energy into my stories, so I want to make sure that it’s one that people will actually enjoy. And no, I don’t do personal story requests anymore. That’s Missy’s thing now. Since there are two of us, you’d think we could put more stories out, but Missy is a perfectionist and likes her stories completed before posting them and me...well, I got other things on my mind besides writing, so it will be on a ’whenever i can get the chapters out’ basis. Sorry bout your luck. Anyways, let me know what you wanna see. Ja ne. Alright, this is Missy and I just want you to know that Liz posted the Prologue and first 2 chapters of the Paradise Found sequel, Protecting Paradise. I have given her a deadline to post SOMETHING by next weekend. It may not be part of the Paradise series, but it WILL give her the motivation to get her @$$ busy with writing. Enjoy!
Sup. So, yeah, it’s Liz. After having the ever loving shit pestered out of me by my irritating cousin *glares over at cousin, MADALYN* (Hey! You are not supposed to use my real name, ELIZABETH) *both engage in hostile staring competition until interrupted by Madalyn’s younger siblings* As I was saying, after having the shit pestered out of me, I have decided to once more try my hand at writing. Plus, I have it on good authority that my shitty ass cousin hasn’t been doing her job and continuing our stories like I asked her to. *grumbles—useless—under breath* So, as my first act of being back, I will post the first chapter of the Paradise Found sequel. I have a lot of shit to catch up on, so...yeah. Ja ne. Hn. Been a while since I've been on here. Just in case you are wondering, this is Liz. No, I'm not making a come back, I just thought I'd let you all know I'm still alive since my cousin refuses to update the profile anymore. She said I have to do it. I know it's been well over two years, but I honestly just don't feel like I can come back yet. I promise you will all know when I do. Thanks for the love and support from the fans the Habit profile has acquired over the years. Ja ne. Okay, so, I've gotten more than a few people asking me if I will be continuing Liz's sequel for Paradise Found. The answer is...YES! I finally managed to build up enough courage to open the box she shipped me after she lost Aidan. It had pictures of the three of us together as kids, some trinkets that Liz wanted me to have, and...their writing notebooks. Aidan was working on some things, as well as Liz, and Liz has asked me to continue writing in their places. It is my great honor to do so. I will let you know if the works getting published are mine or were written by Liz/Aidan. There is also an external hard drive in the box, so I'm going to see what is on it. I hope everyone sees this and knows that I will try and live up to the obviously huge standards my cousins set. With that said, I have one story, the last one written by Aidan, that I will be posting very soon. I just have to type it up, as she wrote it out in a notebook. Ok, so now I have to get ready and go to my class. Med school is complicated xD As some may have read in the latest story post, Letters to Heaven, the original Habit (Liz) is no longer writing. She has passed her account, and the duty of story continuation, on to me (her cousin who is older by 1 month and 10 days). The tragedy that struck my cousin will forever mark her and the communities that supported her. Thank you all for the condolences and even the fan letters she received both to email and to her home. I know it has been a while since the accident that stole Liz's light, but the depression she feels on a daily basis has gotten so bad that she can't bear to even look at the stories she and Aidan used to write together. Therefore, I will be trying my best to carry on the legacy of my beloved cousins. I have some big shoes to fill, from the looks of things... If there is one thing that ticks me off, it's a profile of someone who doesn't write, but has a lot to say about OTHER people's stories and not ONE BIT OF IT IS GOOD! I LOATHE people like that. And I found a PRIME EXAMPLE. MizuRasengan is a reader only profile with no stories posted, but seems to enjoy tearing aspiring authors down. I don't care HOW BAD a story is, if you don't have something constructive to say, KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!!! Just because you're too much of a coward to post anything of your own here doesn't mean you have the right to abuse authors who have the guts to put themselves out there. Telling people you wish they were in a coma?! Really?! Okay, so, apparently things have changed while I've been away...I just had a story removed that has been on here over a year...apparently the title/summary isn't 'everyone friendly' so I have to rework the title and summary in order for it to acceptable. For all those that reviewed it, thank you, and I'm sorry that it was removed, but I really didn't think that it would be an issue, as there really wasn't anything bad about it. Anyways, for those that had liked it, it will be renamed and the summary changed to fit the site's guidelines. I just wanted to say 'huh'. I was rather surprised at how many people liked Laurier Noir, considering it's not one of the plot lines I generally run with. Plus I wrote all that in one night while I was lying in bed, unable to sleep because of my pneumonia coughing fit. I was afraid it sucked...but apparently most of the people who read it want me to make a sequel...lol Okay, it seems that people are getting their knickers in a twist over my AMC Arc stories...you know who you are and why i said that. So, here's a small explanation. I reread through the story and I don't think i saw anywhere that said Sai was actually AFRAID. You have to remember, this arc (as a fanfic) is when they are much older. They are in their early to mid twenties (Sasuke is back, that should tell you something about how this pertains to the canon). Sai has had plenty of time to learn emotions. They aren't actually AFRAID, they just don't know who she is or what she's capable of, so they show her a healthy respect. The 'abject horror' was at the supposed ghost, which don't exist, even there. Anyone would display some sort of emotion if they saw something that wasn't supposed to exist. And Hinata isn't really overpowered, it's just that no one has really seen the culmination of her training. If Naruto had had the chance to actually fight, instead of being ambushed and tortured, he could have easily overpowered anything Hinata did. And Naruto's not a faggot...I don't know how you got that...So here's my advice...if you don't like my arcs, don't read them...it's that simple. I'm not changing my writing because a few people think that it's not 'canon enough'. The point in fanfics is to write about the things you wished happened but don't really. Sometimes it follows the canon, sometimes it doesn't. So if you want to read something that follows canon, don't read my stories, because I don't like how the manga and anime turned out and this is my way of 'changing it'. Well, I feel better about that, so i'm going to work on Paradise Found, Nekos and Behind Emerald Eyes, so later all! Okay...I think I have created a bit of confusion. My earlier one shots (I.E.: Stereotypes, Swimming Lessons, Twinkle Twinkle, Heartfelt Confessions, and My Living Canvas) are connected in a weird, and oddly off, way. However, the new one shots (Flora and Fauna, Living in the Shadows, Iron Maiden of Memories, and Blow Wind, Blow) is not linked to these. They are part of a separate line of one shots that will be known as my Allied Medical Corps Arc. Okay, now that that has been clarified, I will continue working on my stories. -If you are GAARA fanatic, copy this into your profile. No one believes in the probability of a GaaSaku in the show. If you believe it, then copy and paste this in your profile. If you think Sasuke's a manwhore who ditched his village for his own selfish purposes and he deserves to burn for all the screwups he's made, copy this into your siggy All the good men in this world are either gay, taken, or fictional characters. Copy if true. If you think that Asuma should NOT have died, put this in your profile. I mean, seriously. She finds out she's pregnant and then he dies before she gets the chance to tell him. How sad is that? (whoops, did I just spoil somethin?) I write whatever pops into my head, which sometimes people don't like, but I'm at the age where I just don't care anymore. If you don't like my writing style or my plots, that's fine with me, but don't just leave some anon flame because you don't agree with it. I respect those that use their accounts to tell me what they don't like. My only advice for those that don't like what I write/post is this: don't read it. There are plenty of other authors that write...read their work. Otherwise, I'm going to ignore the whining and bitching and just write what I want. That's the whole point of fanfiction in the first place...to write things you think others like you will like. I encourage everyone to write what they enjoy...you never know, there may be others out there like you. I have made many precious friends on this site and I wish them worlds of happiness. |
