is the 2nd read I've had that made me cry (first being Chinese Cinderella), and the first fanfic to do so. Way to go! Great story !

this is one of my favorite storylines. Something about child abuse and survivors of such irresistibly attracts me. I love it when they can rise up and remain optimistic despite the horrors they've endured. Great job, Nami-Lass! I like this almost as much as Chinese Cinderella and My Story.

first chapters were better than the last but still enjoyable. Skimmed most of chap 29 though because I thought the conclusion was obvious and I guessed correctly after the line breaks.

LOL the Kankuro part. Iv'e always wondered about that. Such as if he put sand in his mortal enemies food... the moment it went down the person's throat, he could have it puncture several vital organs and leave through another bodily opening. And, tada! Untraceable assassination! I really do wonder if he can do that sort of stuff...
