So let me admit a few things about myself, firstly:

-- I'm a hopeless romantic, hands-down. So if you're reading something I've written, hoping for some tragic climax that leaves you crying crocodile tears wondering how I could've done such a thing to my heroic characters, you're going to be disappointed. I believe in happy endings. Or at least as happy an ending as two dark-ish characters might manage, hehe.

-- I enjoy reading romance, science fiction, fantasy, history and anthropology -- usually in that order. Which means my story-telling never really utilizes a "fade to black" mentality. With me? Everything's pretty dang blunt.

-- I am a huge fan of Bioware story-telling. If you've found me because you are, too -- we are probably kindred spirits of some sort, hehe! My respect for their story-tellers means I don't stray too far or change too much whatever story that Bioware has already created. I write my Fics from respect for what they've done, after all.

-- My husband's only recently retired Army, met him while I was wearing a uniform of my own. That means I've spent very much of my life surrounded by terrible statistics and sad circumstances; I've seen way too many divorces over the years; and I've attended far, far too many funerals. Stuff your tragedy somewhere else. I escape into my stories.
