![]() Author has written 42 stories for Ninja Turtles, Adventures of Tintin, Dragon Age, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars, and Star Wars. Hello and welcome! Pretty much all you need to know about me is that I love to write. Among my work you'll find mostly romance/drama, with a bit of adventure and angst sprinkled in. Star Wars is my current love, as you can see by the stories listed below. I tend to stick to original characters, (OCs), though I enjoy writing certain canon folks. 2020 Update: Hello there! Although I'm not writing much fanfiction these days, I'm still writing like a fiend. If you love epic fantasy with notes of romance and adventure, please check out my series Catalyst Moon. Here's my author site and the direct link to my Amazon page, although the books are also available on Kobo, B & N, Apple, and various other platforms. For those of you who've followed my work for any length of time, thank you. Your support has kept the muse going. I honesty cannot thank you all enough for your generosity of time and spirit. Stay awesome. Other places you can read my writing: Most of my MA works can be found on AO3. If you're wondering, my username begins with a lowercase letter "L." A few folks have asked me, so I thought I'd clarify. “The best thing about writing fiction is that moment where the story catches fire and comes to life on the page, and suddenly it all makes sense and you know what it’s about and why you’re doing it and what these people are saying and doing, and you get to feel like both the creator and the audience. Everything is suddenly both obvious and surprising…and it’s magic and wonderful and strange.” - Neil Gaiman If you're new to my corner of the internet and don't know where to start, the chronological order of my completed, full-length stories is as follows: Old Wounds(features the first meeting of my main OCs, Kalinda Halcyon and the clone trooper Stonewall.) Warning Signs (companion piece to Old Wounds, told from Stone's POV.) After this, I've created two separate timelines for Kali. Simply put, these fics follow her relationship with the clone trooper Stonewall, and also contain the OC clones of Shadow Squad: Crest, Weave, Milo and Traxis. All Or Nothing (supersedes the last chapter of Old Wounds and the stories that follow in the above timeline.) Better (featuring Chopper from reulte's Scars) (Note: Jade-Max has created a fantastic "origin story" for my OC clone Traxis. Be warned, it's NC-17 and features explicit slash, but it's a darn good read.) Trials: Wild Blue Yonder (The soundtrack can be found here.) Fearless is an AU deviation from the EotS trilogy above. These next fics were written quite a long time ago, and are the "first timeline" to feature Kali and Stonewall. Honestly, I'm not a fan of them any longer, but leave them here for posterity's sake. Awakening (This is a "distilled," M-rated version. The original, NC-17 version can be found here.) These next fics don't have a specific place in my above fanon - yet - but if you're a fan of clone/OC romances, I suggest you check them out. The Fighting Kind(Features Captain Rex, ARC trooper Fives, and several of the 501st boys. For some awesome cover art, byTheLightIsMine, look here.) Worth Fighting For (sequel to TFK) Fire and Ice (Commander Wolffe/OC. Romance, drama, M-rated smexiness, and a bit of angst. Inspired by my contribution to A Spa Story, the entirety of which can be found under the "favorites" tab below.) The rest of my Star Wars stories are either vignette collections or one-shots that all have their own place in my "fanon," usually stated in the summary or the chapter titles. All of my fics feature OCs unless they don't. ;) Note: As of July 19, 2013, no other author has permission to use my original characters, planets, races, or any other content that I created. If you would like to use them, please drop me a line so we can discuss. If I gave you permission in the past, you must ask me again to use my content again as of today. Thanks. If I've done my job as a storyteller correctly, your only question as a reader will be: "what happens next?" Feedback helps me get better and is always welcome. Stay awesome. - Lauren |
