Matty and Obi-wan are the unlikely duo I didn't know I needed until now.

I feel like the last part of this chapter is really underrated. Actually. this storyline in general is underrated. I have never read another Obi-wan story where the contradictory feelings involved in loving a jedi are so realistic and relatable. Well done.

This is my second read through of this story, and I love it just as much as I did the first time.

I first read this fic 5 years ago, and I’ve reread it about 4 more times since. And I have to say, it still holds up to how I remember it. We improve as writers as the years pass, and maybe you kind of cringe a little looking back on this (as most of us do when looking back at our old work), but I’m just dropping a review to let you know that I love this story still. It’s the one that made me dramatically fan myself with my hand while chanting “wow that was such a romantic confession.” So many of these moments brings so many different feelings from me as a reader, and it really puts into perspective the misunderstandings we have in our own relationship that could be solved. In any case, I’ll probably be reading this again in a year or two, but know that this story has such a special place in my heart.
