Hi! I'm Fox Scarlen (not my real name) and I absolutely LOVE to write! So I figured I'd sign up on here, because who doesn't love fanfiction? Plus, I'd like to give writing it a shot. I'm mostly a fantasy writer, and I'm an avid reader, so if anyone wants to chat about books as well, I'm open. I'd love new suggestions, or just to talk about a favorite series! And now I'm rambling...anyway, feel free to drop me a line, and criticism on my writing is always welcome! Any chance to improve, I'll take.

10/5/11: Been busy with school and whatnot, but I am back to writing semi-regularly. You'll be seeing lots of one-shots from me in different sections, depending on my mood, but expect some nice long fics in the future. ;) They've still got a long ways to go, but they're getting there.

8/4/11: Gosh, it's been a long time since I updated right here. Anyways, I'm really in a slump right now, but I think I'm starting to pull out. Part of the reason, I think, was simply not branching out into other fandoms. Now that I've posted a one-shot for a fandom I like, I feel like I'm starting to get my writing back. Got the next few chapters of Tomorrow planned out, so expect some soon. ;)

4/26/11: Muaha! Finally came out of that darn slump I was in regarding Hoist! Now, the rest of the series has been planned out, and it shall all be up fairly soon. ;)

4/4/11: Sorry about the lack of update-age in the Leviathan fics! Been a bit busy with school, you know, research papers and the like. Plus, I was having a bit of trouble in math (still have no idea why an English person like me is in a math class two years ahead) and, of course, grades will always take precedence over fanfiction writing (though my fics still have a very high priority set in my head.) I hope to be back to updating soon!

3/20/11: Argh! Woke up this morning, got on the computer, opened up Word, sat down to write the next chapter of Hoist the Colours aaand...nothing. Absolutely nothing. This is what you call writer's block, folks. Out of nowhere, and annoyingly inconvenient. My apologies, but I'm thinking there's going to be a bit of a delay until the next chapter comes out. Hopefully not too long. My guess is it'll just blow over quick enough, but you can never tell with these things.

Anyways, I guess I'll do one of those little profile things.

Gender: Female! Yeppers, I'm a girl. Though sadly, I have taken a gender test, thrice now, and come out as male...^^;

Age: I should be able to drive at this point.

Looks: I am a Togruta! (If you don't know what that is, watch Star Wars!) xP

Location: Coruscant.

Movies: Classic Disney Movies, Hayao Miyazaki movies, Harry Potter movies, Spiderman movies, X-men movies, Pixar movies, and if I keep going you'll be here all day.

TV Shows: Merlin (this show is awesomeness), Chuck, Heroes (so mad it's canceled!), Big Bang Theory (Sheldon rocks), America's Got Talent, The Mentalist, Pysch (hilarious to watch), Warehouse 13 (brilliant show), Raising Hope (actually a funny comedy!), Amazing Race (the moment I'm old enough, I'm signing up), Survivor, Glee (great show, though it's getting a bit annoying at times), Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (Cameron's the best), Firefly (how could this show ever be canceled?!), and once again a ton of other things.

Cartoons: Star Wars: The Clone Wars (obsessed with the show), X-Men: Evolution (Rogue is the best!), Avatar: the Last Airbender (go Toph!), Class of the Titans, Danny Phantom, My Life as a Teenage Robot, WordGirl (meant for ages six to ten, but whatever! I love the show, and that's that xP), My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (yeah, I'm now a brony - deal with it xP), and plenty more.

Music: Basically anything except rap or hip hop. And maybe country. But besides those, I like most any kind of music. My favorite bands, though, are probably Evanescence and OneRepublic. But honestly, that doesn't mean anything. I listen to my soundtracks more than the bands I just mentioned.

Activites: Reading, writing, sitting on the computer writing fanfiction, sitting on the computer writing my original story, schoolwork, playing videogames.

Books: Guardians of Ga'hoole, Wolves of the Beyond, Ranger's Apprentice, Redwall, Artemis Fowl, Warriors (the series with the cats), Seekers (the series with the bears), Peter and the Starcatchers, Eragon, Maximum Ride, all Tamora Pierce books (especially the Song of the Lioness quartet, the Protector of the Small quartet, and the Beka Cooper series), Charlie Bone, The Land of Elyon, Hunger Games, Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, the Leviathan series, Graceling (and its companion, Fire), True Grit, and a whole lot more!

Manga/Anime: Detective Conan (Case Closed), 1/2 Prince, Skip Beat!, Fullmetal Alchemist, Lock On!,Tokyo Crazy Paradise, Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Hana Kimi, Digimon, Fruits Basket, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (actually, I haven't seen the show, but I'm reading the books-my awesome friend has the first edition books in English and is lending them to me- and Kyon is hilarious with all his awesome sarcasm! Although Yuki is just plain win.), Ouran High School Host Club (which is an awesome anime, and which is now one of my all-time favorites!) and tons more.

Videogames: Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, Mario, Spyro, Star Fox, Kingdom Hearts, DragonQuest, etc.

When a mysterious beast begins to terrorize the forest, he is put to the test. Set based off of times given in Secrets of the Clans, enjoy this historical episode of ThunderClan's bravery, and an unusual uniting of clans to face a common foe. ((Warning! I wrote this a while ago, and it's in dire need of some heavy editing. If you read, be warned.))

Hello: Anakin reflects on Ahsoka's death. One-shot songfic to Hello by Evanescence.

From Youngling to Jedi: Kalifa reflects on how she came to be a prisoner on Island Four, part of the large, elaborate, Trandoshan hunt, and how it has affected her life. Based on the events and characters of 'Padawan Lost.' Centered on a minor character. One-shot. ((I'm a little worried that people might have thought this was a story about an OC, but I assure you, it isn't. Kalifa is a very real character, but a minor one, featured in only one episode. However, I found her to be very intriguing, and decided to explore her past and give her a story.)) [Currently under editing.]

Kings: In which Alek finally admits his feelings for a certain Darwinist middy to himself, and contemplates the reaction of two kings ascending the throne. And kissing. Dalek-quite obviously. xP

Today: A series of drabbles revolving around the friendship between Deryn and Alek. Just some fun times between good friends.

Hoist the Colours: Running from Darwinist and Clanker forces alike, Deryn, Alek, Volger, Klopp, Bauer, and Hoffman flee to America to start their lives anew.

Confidante: Sometimes, all WordGirl needs is a friend to talk to, to trust. Violet and WordGirl friendship.

Dismissive: Tobey had always been...dismissive. And now, he was starting to wonder why.

Cognizant: Tobey had recently become cognizant of a few certain details regarding Becky Botsford and WordGirl. Now, he decided, was the time to act. Semi-sequel to Dismissive.

Visor: Five months after the execution of Order 66, Ahsoka finds herself in front of a certain clone captain she never thought she'd see again, especially on opposing sides.

Monster: On a mission long before the events of "Deserter", Rex finds himself face to face with a man possessed with hatred towards all clones, and begins to question everything he once believed in.

Running Up That Hill: There is a moment in time, when you know what has happened, but it hasn't been confirmed, and so you vainly hope that you are wrong. You never are. Major spoiler for season 3 finale.

Discontinued:

These are fics that I'm pulling. I sincerely apologize to all readers, but I started on these at a time when I had too much on my plate, and looking back over them, I realize that, as the months passed, I simply lost interest. I was never going to update, so I've decided to discontinue them. Someday in the future, I might pick them back up again, but don't expect any more updates.

Now, they must look for a way out, while loved ones at home begin to worry over their disappearance. To find Rika, Yamaki sends Ryo into the digital world to find and bring her back, but an ominous threat looms on the horizon as an ancient enemy starts to break free from his chains. Ryuki.

Burning Blue: The hottest flames are said to burn a brilliant blue...Kyoko's gaining success as an actress, and no matter how hard he tries, Ren can't seem to win her heart. Well, Kyoko is incredibly oblivious...
