Hi! I'm Impsy. I'm 25 years old, and I am a shameless Bioware fan. Okay, that kind of sounds like I'm attending meetings. "I'm Impsy, and I have a problem - I fall in love with video game characters." I love to write, and fanfiction is a fun side project to do when I'm stuck on my original stuff, and the games that get me wanting to write the most are Bioware's games (Mass Effect and Dragon Age mainly). I usually write romance/angst, and my biggest ships are Shenko (Kaidan/femShep from Mass Effect), Alistair/Cousland and Hawke/Anders (Dragon Age), and Carth/Revan (KotOR). I also ship Shepard/Joker (Mass Effect) and femHawke/Varric (Dragon Age 2), though I don't really write those two.

Mass Effect: All of my ME fics take place with my "canon" Irien Shepard, a Paragon, spacer, war hero soldier who fell for Kaidan Alenko; my profile picture on here is of her.
-"Afterparty" - Shepard and Kaidan reunited after Shepard returned from Omega 4, but now he's meeting the rest of the (rather intimidating) crew, all of whom know what happened on Horizon. Not exactly the best impression. Despite his best wishes, things don't go as smoothly as he hoped. Directly follows my "Shepard's Loyalty Mission" series.
-Working on some random snippets that take place after my "Shepard's Loyalty Mission" series.
-Other Shenko-y oneshots are also in various stages of completion.

Dragon Age: Almost all are written about my PC, Irien Cousland, who married Alistair.
-"Missives" tells post-game events (AU from Awakening, I started it before the expansion came out) through letters the characters write to each other. On hold.
-"Sincerely Yours" expands on the events mentioned in Missives. On hold.
-"Expectations" is set during Dragon Age: Awakening. The first chapter is from Anders' POV. He's a bit behind on Ferelden current events, so he's rather surprised at his rescuer's identity. The second is about Nathaniel and his thoughts about Cousland rescuing him, as well, and the fallout from his father killing her parents and her killing his father.

Jade Empire:
-"In the Shadows" - Will be five chapters long. Ch 1-3 done, 4 in progress (on hold), and 5 still unwritten.

Mercedes Lackey's "Valdemar" series: "Limitless" - On hold, most likely never to be completed as I started it a shamefully long time ago.

Mass Effect 3:
Regrets- Shenko; angst, romance; 500-word drabbles. Kaidan attempts to reunite with Shepard during the attack on Earth. (Slightly AU, based on ME3 demo.)
Consequences- Shenko; angst, romance; ending rewrite. Shepard is wounded and trapped after the end of the game, and Kaidan struggled to get back to her.

Mass Effect 2:
Days or Decades- Shenko; romance, angst; oneshot. Second person POV. Kaidan and Shepard have been apart so long that they've lost touch with how much time has actually passed.
Justified- Shenko; romance, angst. Kaidan's POV. Shepard meets up with Kaidan a few days after Horizon and hopes to help him understand everything that happened to her so they can go back to how things used to be, but things don't go as well as she'd hoped. First part of my "Shepard's Loyalty Mission" series (followed by "Demigod," "Loyalty," and "Full Disclosure").
Demigod- Shenko; angst, romance. Joker's POV. After her disastrous talk with Kaidan on the Citadel, Shepard comes back to the Normandy and is extremely upset. Joker decides to find out what happened and tries to help her cope. Second part of my "Shepard's Loyalty Mission" series (preceded by "Justified" and followed by "Loyalty" and "Full Disclosure").
Loyalty- Shenko; angst, romance. Joker's POV. After talking with Shepard on the Normandy, Joker knows there's only one thing to do - find Kaidan Alenko and tell him what a goddamn idiot he's being. Full Disclosure- Shenko; friendship, angst. After they argue and make up on the Citadel in "Loyalty," Joker and Kaidan write emails to keep each other updated on how everything is going. Joker gets gossip about the Alliance, and Kaidan gets to hear about how Shepard is doing without him. Fourth part in the "Shepard's Loyalty Mission" series (preceded by "Justified," "Demigod," and "Loyalty").
Anything- Shenko; romance, angst. Shepard survived the Omega 4 relay, and Kaidan has finally figured out that pushing her away was a mistake. It's finally time for these two crazy kids to get back together. Final part in the "Shepard's Loyalty Mission" series (preceded by "Justified," "Demigod," "Loyalty," and "Full Disclosure.").
Broken- Shenko; angst, romance; oneshot. Lilith's POV. Fellow Horizon Colony resident Lilith cares about Kaidan and can't stand seeing how sad he is, and she blames Shepard for it.

Mass Effect:
All in a Day's Work- Shenko; romance, humor, action; oneshot. Shepard's POV. Five injuries she got over the course of her military career are used to show how her relationship with Kaidan develops.
Avians and Insects- Shenko; post-game; romance, humor; oneshot. Kaidan's POV. He and Shepard try to explain their relationship to disapproving superiors.
Gossip- Joker-centric; unrequited love, angst, humor; Shenko; oneshot. Joker's POV. Joker has a unique perspective on everything and everyone on the ship, and a love for gossiping that he attempts to use for good.
Noticed- Shenko; fluffy, romance; oneshot. Kaidan's POV. The very beginning of the romance between him and Shepard.
Oblivious- Shenko, with some Sharrus, Liara-Shep, and Joker-Shep; unrequited love, angst, romance; oneshot. Four people who love Shepard, but only one that she loves back.
Thinking Too Much- Shenko; angst, romance; oneshot. Kaidan's POV. Kaidan tries to figure out why he forgives Shepard for what happened at Virmire so quickly.

Dragon Age:
Powerless- Cousland/Alistair; angst, romance; oneshot. Alistair's POV. He attempts to deal with a sad ending to the game.
Thorns- Cousland/Alistair; angst, romance; oneshot. Cousland's POV. Cousland struggles with how much she's changed since becoming a Grey Warden, but Alistair helps her through it.

Dragon Age 2:
