I really loved this fic. The last chapters were so exciting, I couldn't bring myself to pay attention in class and had to read on. Really curious about how Kaidan deals with Rachel after this though..

I have to say, I've really been looking forward to this last chapter and dreading it all at the same time, lol. I love your writing. I love the way you write these characters, their relationships and the way that you tell their story. The way you make them feel and make me feel for them. It's so beautiful and heartfelt, so emotionally powerful. I love it. So of course, I was really not looking forward to seeing it come to an end. And now that it's here, I am so relieved and absolutely thrilled to hear that you'll be continuing with it. Yay!

I really like what you did with this chapter, it wasn't necessarily what I was expecting, but it fits and I'm really looking forward to seeing how it all plays out. And it was nice seeing Kaidan happy, if only for a moment. Poor guy. I'm pretty sure after this last visit with Anderson, Kaidan is going to hate going to that mans office. Everytime he does it ruins his life...a little more. Anderson is so cruel and he doesn't have any idea. Poor Kaidan.

Thank you so much for sharing this and sticking with it. It's really a wonderful story and you have such distinct and beautiful storytelling talent, it's truly remarkable. I will do my best to wait patiently, but you certainly didn't make it easy with that last chapter, lol. I can't wait to see how it all plays out, I know it's in good hands. Thank you!

I really loved the little bits at the beginning with Shep's crew visiting her bedside. Jack, well, Jack is awesome. You really captured her. And even though I really can't stand Miranda I enjoyed how she threatened to bring Shep back iagain/i.

Great dialogue between Shep and Joker! It was awesome seeing him angry with her! Haha! Being ever the insubordinate it's his thing. :D

Poor Joker! Saves everyone and gets dragged over the coals.

Love this story, the drama, suspense, it's enough to drive a person to drink - where do I get Serrice Ice Brandy?

I am so sorry. I didn't get a chance to review your last chapter before you posted this one. Shame on me! I feel so bad, I promise I'll do better. I seriously can't tell you enough how much I love this story and your writing.

This chapter and the last are simply amazing, as your chapters always are. I loved how as Shepard's in the fight of her life...again, Kaidan's out there struggling to move on with his. Ahh, that bittersweet torture that you have such a knack for and that I so love, lol.

I really liked your version of what happened on the collector's base as well, and how you showed the team working together, watching each others backs. It's nice to see the bonds that Shepard's made with the different characters, to see their friendship, strengths and personalities come into play. You have such a wonderful and beautiful way of conveying the different relationships with the different characters.

I loved the different comments made from her teammates floating in her head as she's trying to wake up. You really captured the different voices and personalities of her unique team. They were a joy to read and hear their voices in my head as I did so. And I love love love how she's picturing Kaidan sitting their waiting for her to wake up. I love how she misses his touch, she remembers, barely, the feel of his hand in hers. I really love how in such a short and sweet description of his touch...their touch, you express how deeply his love and absence has and is truly affecting her.

And last but not least, I really loved Shepard and Jokers discussion. I love that Joker stood up for himself and I love how him saying that he might stay with Cerberus caught Shepard off guard. I really do enjoy their relationship, the unique dynamic that you've created between them. They've got quite the past together and I just can't help but feel for them.

You've created the most profound and beautiful relationship between Kaidan and Elizabeth, such heart and soul that's so delicately and perfectly woven into this heartwrenching story. I'm always amazed at how you say so much and make me feel so much with such simple little words and sentences. You are truly talented. Honestly, words can't express how much I love this story, but I still try. Thank you for sharing!
