Guest chapter 30 . 12/9/2015
This is such a wonderful piece of literature! Please keep writing! 3

Good for Hawke, pushing on the door before he can close it on her, and forcing him to leave it open! Fenris is so stubborn, sometimes you have to stubborn him right back.
mille libri chapter 29 . 9/29/2015
Excitingly done! This scene gets left out of so many stories, but it's an action-packed one, and I was tense along with Hawke as she tried to reach the delegate in time.
Laryn Chillbreeze chapter 1 . 8/11/2015
Never played the game, but there's just enough context here (and in the story posted in AO3*) that I don't really need to. Read the other site's story first.
One hell of a hook, BB. And the bit later is so sweet! I think all those projects with deadlines are gonna have to wait a while...

Hi! I'm still here. Haven't been on in a while though, that's true...
Yayy, I forgot how much I enjoy this quest! :)
mille libri chapter 28 . 6/25/2015
Ah, Hawke, trying to understand Fenris when he doesn't even entirely understand himself. I'm sad for her, but I admire her pushing through and trying to maintain at least some semblance of a normal relationship with him.
Eva Inevitable chapter 6 . 5/23/2015
This is exactly how the Anders conversation went in my head. I wanted to smack him or better yet yank that stupid pony tail. Don't mess with Fen x
mille libri chapter 27 . 5/20/2015
Well, we all knew that was coming. Poor Fenris! And poor Hawke, who clearly still didn't quite understand the extent of the issue.
rannadylin chapter 15 . 5/18/2015
"I may need to kill every boy in Thedas"...Hah! Sounds about right. This is quite beautiful, all through.
rannadylin chapter 13 . 5/18/2015
"Strangely polite and articulate"...I like how you put this (and that whole paragraph...well the whole chapter, heh, but this bit in particular...). That nicely sums up what fascinates me most about Fenris: as a slave, never taught to read and presumably not much else of an education either, HOW did he get to be so well-spoken? My theory is that he's just cleverer than people expect from a slave;he seems introverted and, as such, very observant. I like to think that all the time he was guarding Danarius, he was picking up the man's gentrified habits of speech...or something. :)

Loved that last bit! A reminder of the friendship between them and a lightening of the mood before they take it further.
GlysMari chapter 26 . 5/13/2015
Sweet, clean and neat. All the emotions are there, and I love the way you finished this chapter off. Nice job.
rannadylin chapter 5 . 5/12/2015
Working my way through the early chapters; great stuff! Fenris refusing to lie to comfort her is so beautifully in character. I love how blunt he is.
mille libri chapter 25 . 5/11/2015
Yay, an update! And a lovely one at that, the warmth of their growing relationship such a small bit of candlelight but bright and steady.
