Author has written 9 stories for Brothers Conflict/ブラコン, Diabolik Lovers/ディアボリックラヴァーズ, Hakuōki/薄桜鬼, Twilight, and Sekirei. Hello, I'm Ash. If any of you care, I'm currently a high school student, and yes, I am a girl. I'm a fluctuating bisexual, which basically means that I tend to go back and forth with my preferences for guys or girls, though I do tend to prefer girls most of the time. Partially because of that, and also because I don't like to limit my stories, though I do tend to like writing romaces, I could write about either hetero or homo relationships. I will probably give you a heads up about that before I begin writing by showing the pairing in the summary if I know what that pairing is, or just writing a general warning in the story. So remember people, you will have a warning about the relationships in my stories, and I'm not making you read them. Got it, homophobes out there? I tend to write fanfictions because I enjoy writing. Reviews do give me a lot of motivation to write more, but if you insult me, I will probably either be slightly hurt and get over it or just laugh it off from the start. That being said, I do appreciate any criticism or suggestions that I get for my stories and I will love you forever if you give me any idea on what you think should happen. If I try to plan a story out by more than a few chapters, my plans usually change. I write based off of sometimes completely insane ideas that I come up with, and some of it is influenced by my life. So most planning I do is in the form of short little notes that mostly remind me of some sort of vibe that I want to give off rather than real plans. As a result, I only have a loose idea of what I'm going to do at any given point in a story, except at, like, the end. I'll usually have a vague idea about the end. So any suggestions actually do help me to figure out what is going to happen in my stories and I love the people who give me those ideas. They also help me to update faster because then I won't be trying to come up with something for hours and failing. It happens. It sucks. If you have a specific story you want to read, feel free to send me a PM or a review, and I might write it if it interests me. The worst I'll do is say I don't like your prompt or that I either didn't like the series enough or I haven't seen it. Don't worry if I haven't written in that fandom before though. I have seen a lot of different series, both anime and books. That being said, I won't write something too graphic. As in, I'm not going to write this horrifying torture scene where the character is in absolute agony. At the same time, I don't mind mentioning them in stories, or betaing stories that have those in them, so you can check out my profile for more of that. I will also try to limit myself to a few stories at a time, but if I have a good idea, I'm not going to wait to write it because when I have done that in the past, I feel like it's lost it's freshness(?) I guess and will just be something I'm writing rather than what I actually wanted to write when I thought of it. Updates as of 7/24/16 So it's been a while since I've updated, and I've found a way to manage my stories and balance them with my life. Basically, I've allotted one day of the week to write at least one chapter for each of my stories. This will actually help since I'm also starting two new stories (which I know is gonna piss off some of my readers) so I won't get too absorbed in them and not be able to write for my other stories. Anyway the schedule will be: Sunday - Freedom Monday - Changes Tuesday - Second Chances Wednesday - Trust Thursday - Home Friday - A New Family Saturday - Not Alone On these days, I'll write at least one chapter for the story listed (though I might write more if I have the time/motivation), skim over it for obvious mistakes, and post it. The only reason I'd break this pattern is if I'm sick, my grandparents (I live with them) are sick, or I just get really busy (schoolwork, moving, vacation, etc.) and then I'll try to get back to it as soon as I can. But you will notice that there will be some inconsistencies in my works. A lot of times during my classes or something, I'll come up with an idea and write about it as quickly as I can or I will be at my house, and just start typing for a couple hours. So that can affect the length of the chapters, and also the grammar and spelling. I just skim when I post, and then I usually go back, either when I have time or someone points something out to me, and I fix it. My updates will possibly have several chapters coming out at once. Other times, they will have only one. It depends on what happens in my life and how much inspiration that I have for any one story. For example, if I have a lot of reviews that motivates me to write more. Same thing if I'm sitting in class and suddenly realize that whatever idle idea I got while tuning out my teacher's voice is the idea I was looking for...Yeah another weird thing that happens with me. Also, be warned that I am so far from being politically correct that it's not even funny. So if I say something that offends you, depending on what it is, I might change it. Or I might just say that I don't care and leave you to stew in your own irritation. Yeah, I'm a bitch like that. Still though, let me know if it really bothers you that much, and I'll consider changing it. |
