This is a much more in depth LelouchXKallen closure compared to what R2 gave us. Nice work.

Sorry it took so long to get to this! Argh! Real life is frustrating and obstructive.

Anyway, this was very good. Both of them were in character, at the very least, even though it would be very easy to have one of the characters say something romantic and sappy to each other before the end, as a lot of authors seem to do...

Other than that, there's not much more to say. Since this was good, though, I guess I'll have to read something longer by you so that I have more to say next time.

Well Magery I'm not great when it comes to writing stories and believe me I'm writing one right now and What you wrote emotionally was really great. I love the creative descriptions and secret side story that I thought of as well before Lelouches death. You have touched me greatly and if you have already started writing Breath of life you can garantee that I'll be there all the way reading through your next great master piece. Great writing, as usual. I like the exchange before they said goodbye to each other.

I must say, eventhough the story's sad/sullen, it still gives a more satisfying closure to Kallen and Lelouch's 'relationship' than CG canon's non-closure closure (sheesh). I noticed that you've used the 'fire and ice' metaphors consistently with your three posted stories. I'd like to think that you're using it as a trademark of sorts, but hopefully, it doesn't become a 'crutch' to your writing.

I thought the bit at the beginning with Kallen and Lelouch being "actors" was pretty cool and went well with Lelouch supposed to be wearing a metaphorical mask and whatever. Wow that sentence was convoluted... and made little sense...
Oh and I effing love the song decode. I love watching the Code Geass AMV with that song as well lol :P
