I quite like this one and felt it was well-done! It's a nice change to see how other characters deal with Chizuru being in ACTUAL danger (rather than just potential ones in the game/anime) and I like how you managed to do it so that each of them expresses their worry in their own little way - so in character despite the situation being uncharacteristic for them.

I fel that your use of Japanese in this fic was pretty good. I also feel that there are some terms that the English language can never do justice to and hence are better left untranslated. I actually like fics like this. What I hate are the ones that try to sound smart and keep overusing words like 'Baka' and 'Kami' right in the middle of an English sentence (and then the author proceeds to repeat this tactic about twenty times in the whole fic). That just sounds fake. But your execution of theuse of Japanese was balanced and widespread. Actually, I have you to thank now for teaching me what an engawa is! :D So, thank you.
