Let's see, I am a Virgo/Tiger female that still keeps up with the most likely frowned upon activity known as fanfiction. Since I can't seem to write my own stuff (besides poetry and haikus), I borrow from the fandoms of others.

Fanfic

I prefer rarer ships like Dalastair and Snarry and thrive on complicated and darker interactions. Occasionally, I write fluff and gen fic.

I also write drabbles. Drabbles are "ficlets" that consist of 100-300 words. I like to challenge myself to see how much content I can write in such a small space, so that's why they're so short.

As for writing, I like the anti-hero (or villian). I adore angst, hurt/comfort, and drama. Sometimes, romance. While I enjoy reading humor, I can't write a half-decent comedy fic to save my life, so I stay away from that subject. Others may notice that I also enjoy sticking together two people that have no business being together in the first place. On the topic of yaoi, It's not so much the sex as it is how the characters' overall personalities interact. Sometimes, they explode. Sometimes, they piffle.

One of my major pet peeves is plagiarism. Of any sort. I'm sure many other fanfic writers feel the same. If you must write the same idea, ask the other person first in an e-mail or a PM.

I write all ratings--from K to M. I'm not picky. I'm also an emotion whore and perhaps sacrifice actual storyline to broadcast the interactions between the characters. Storyline and world building is a craft I have to learn.
