![]() Author has written 218 stories for Supernatural, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Jurassic Park, Paranormal Activity, Hannibal, and Walking Dead. Yes, my avatar is a head shot of the greatest Thoroughbred filly who ever lived: Ruffian. I'm back. Again. I am a miracle of modern medicine. In 2018 I saw some really cute male doctors and EMTs. At the time I couldn't walk but if I could have made a move on them they would have been in serious trouble. Hey, I was sick, not dead. I also met many genuinely caring female doctors, nurses and therapists. And the drugs. Good drugs are always a plus. Just so you know what you're getting into here: I'm definitely a Dean fan. In my AU 'verses he's either the Big Damn Hero or the Big Bad. Sam will always be the not so little brother who still idolizes his big brother after all these years. I have never been a fan of Team Free Will. Castiel doesn't appear in my stories much. When he does one of two things will always happen: 1) he dies or 2) he's humiliated. Sometimes both things happen to him in the same story. Since I specialize in AUs I have the option of ignoring bird butt completely. I exercise that option a lot. If you're looking for Team Free Will or destiel you definitely came to the wrong place. Move on, please. On March 15, 2016 my dear friend LeeMarieJack passed away after a short illness. “Black Horse and the Cherry Tree” was the reason we became friends. She explained that Black Horse helped her after she had her first stroke. She recc’d this story every chance she got. We emailed each other each day. She pushed me. When I joke that I have to up my meds I'm not kidding. My health issues are not as severe as hers were, but Lee always encouraged me. She was...she is a joyful, wonderful person. When Lee died I lost interest in "Black Horse." I had no idea she was that ill. I was shocked to learn that she passed on. But then I remembered the conversations we had about what I had planned for the rest of that story. She was very excited when I told her about that: Dean and Tessa, Sam and Jessica Moore, Poseidon’s tsunami versus the Horsemen in Hawaii, weddings, renewal. Life goes on. I believe that Lee wants me to finish "Black Horse." She's up in Heaven smirking: "I know you miss me, darling, but it's about time. Good grief, get off your ass and finish this, okay? I'm watching you, woman. And tell those legs of yours to behave." Well, they are now. My cat Loki has taken over the wheelchair. He's a big boy. He can have it. Pushy Woman has spoken. Her wish is my command. So strap yourselves in, folks. Silver Ruffian and the Horsemen are not done yet. Much thanks to everyone who read, reviewed, recc’d and fav’d my stories, including "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree." And much thanks to Lee. I still miss you, my friend. -30- |
