Reviews for Don't like what you're kickin', son
Cimamango chapter 1 . 4/19/2016
I've said it before & I'll say it again- your writing is so original and different. I don't know if I liked it exactly- it made me feel all claustrophobic, but I did enjoy it- will have to puzzle it out! Thanks so much for writing!

Supernatural Fan Fiction Monthly Award

Wow - what a fantastic Christmas present to be gifted with an exceptional story like that. I don't understand that there are so few reviews - you created a deep and very intense plot that, like a dream, is lost to fixed interpretations, and that's part of it's magic. Loved your distinct images and the very strange limbo with God - in one of his forms - or in the form that probably makes most sense. A creator, a woman, a mother who has to let go of their beloved children - still knowing everything about them and their secret fears and emotions. Which makes their relationship at least close to ancient greek dramas :-)

Thanks for sharing your imagination with us.
Merry Christmas

Supernatural Fan Fiction Monthly Awards Review : December 2015

This story, with its spectacular surrealistic moments and clarity of language, is a mixed pleasure to read. The quality of imagination is enormous, plucking at ideas effortlessly, twining them together, making something potent from ordinary things. The contrast of Dean's character is stark against that background, early season bravado and a rough carelessness I'm not sure about, remembering his attitudes to Haley and Lucas and Layla.

It's the depth of detail that captivates here. Ordinary detail, observed and imagined, that along with the consistent commitment to the characters, adds a layer of truthfulness to the writing. In every scene, that detail is what grabs and holds. It's a lovely lesson in a writer's skill.

Supernatural Fan Fiction Monthly Awards Review: December

While this story was well paced and definitely original, I came away wondering what the significance of the burning cow was and if Dean ever found the pebble in the sole of his boot. Funny, the things that stick with a reader.

This story was well formatted and free of grammatical errors.

Holy shit.

That was the best fanfic I've ever read. Ever. Holy fuck.

Really, you're fantastically talented and this is fucking fantastic.

Did I mention that I really loved this?

Because I do.

Another extraordinary story. I've actually run out of words to describe the effect it had on me, suffice to say that my mind was blown.
Ridea chapter 1 . 10/14/2010
That was really good. I enjoyed the premise and Dean's panic and how the girl just stayed. It seems funny that she sounded like God and Dean slept with her...the whole rain thing though makes me wonder who distracted her long enough last time ;)

I look forward to more of your work.

Should have made you a favorite author while I was at it. This was stunning. The eyelashes - that was like a knife. You nailed him. Ashamed when he shouldn't have been. And Sam hiding him - brilliant. I may end up favoriting everything eventually. I'm sure you won't mind.

I know I'm late to the party, but I wanted you to know how much I enjoyed this. You nailed the boys voices. Dean's angst over what people thought of him, and his inability to deal with it really got to me. I've added this to my favorite stories list. Thanks!

There you are! Thought I'd have to finally go track you down on LJ. This piece was wonderful, as usual-all the little discomforts and the inescapabilities, the memories and explanations, what Sam did for him to keep him safe. Just terrific. Glad to see it here!
