Amazing story. Great Idea pairing the benders with a ghostly possession to cause Dean to disappear. I enjoyed how the Ghost played on Dean’s killer aspect. You could really believe the angst and self doubt that would cause. I do wonder about John. Was that a different ghostly persona that Dean has yet to deal with or was John an aspect of Gabriel? Or was John some mental construct deans head created to cope? Is there a situation where the John character might ever re emerge? Can’t wait to read how the boys go after Lim. Interesting baddie to add into the mix.
I enjoyed how you ended it. Giving Dean a coping mechanism with the punching bag but it not quite adequately meeting the emotional need of getting hit back. The healthier coping mechanisms do tend to leave victims less than completely satisfied. It felt real.
Favorite part - Dean flipping out at the hair cut and Sam confronting the stranger walking across the parking lot only to realize it’s Dean and hugging him tight.

I loved this story. Read for 6 hours, I couldn't put it down!

Holy shit

I don't need to tell you, but the difference between the two stories is phenomenal. One is for adults, complete with adult responsibilities, realisations, wounds and scars and love. The other is for those who know nothing of those things and possibly never will.

A compelling story that not once faltered in its telling, in the way events built to their climaxes, were resolved and dealt with and in God's mysterious ways, gave a deep satisfaction to their conclusions. Storytelling, pure and simple. Lessons learned - absorbed some of the time, without even conscious volition - and peace descending with the final words.

Above all, this is a wonderful example of what makes horror, not torture!fic. Every good horror writer knows the difference and does their utmost to adhere to it. Every reader who loves the genre and all its subgenres knows it too and rejoices when a good horror story turns up for them.

The attention to detail, on situation, on characterisation, on human nature, on universal truths was a pleasure to indulge in, so my thanks for that!

A very necessary chapter, and one that answered questions thoroughly and with a great eye for detail.

You know it's good when there's a physical reaction to the words, and yeah, what a reaction I got just then.

Pure horror, and in the way that horror works best, woven in with real people doing real things and everything so utterly damned plausible that's what it makes it so horrific. John, Bobby and Sam's scene was nailed for both accuracy and realism, for each of the characters. People don't realise that people can only do what's in them to do but you got it here, with a stone-cold precision I wish could be hammered into every soul. GREAT work!

As usual, I find the story to be increasingly spine-tingling, chills and moments of perfect clarity perfectly intertwined, characterisation under any circumstances clear and vividly in place. It's such an enormous pleasure to read such well-written, tight and definitively going-somewhere work. Every word is there for a reason and the reasons build and develop the further I progress. Literally can't stop reading.

Wow ... Just wow, I've lost the last three days of my life reading this fabulous story. Beautifully realised, vivid imagery, on-point characterisation, truly engaging plot, an amazingly well written publication by a ver, very talented author! Bravo!

It was an incredible story, brutal, intense, I couldn't believe you wrote a lot of things I read, but It was so damn interesting, suspenseful, angst that I couldn't stop reading until the very end, even when some of the dark themes were way too dark than I expected, everything was so well done that I needed to read that they got their "happy ending", a bit of relief for all that happened. You scared me for a minute when I thought you would kill John at the end or in the middle of the story that Missy might kill Bobby, I'm very glad you didnt. Well, this story was so catchy and so shocking that my husband just laughed at me when I let out phrases like "no, no, no" "She really did write something like this..?", "Oh my God... this is too much", "What.. why.. Nooo!" or just covered my mouth in shock... so you know.

a while ago I promised myself I wouldn't read any more fanfiction 'cause I didn't want the canon of the fic to mix up with the real - show - canon and eventually ruin another show for myself. well, promises get broken, and in this case I'm glad they do, because holy heaven and every trenchcoated baby angel sittin' on a cloud, was this fantastic!

I absolutely loved it. every piece of the story was as delish as good champagne. the language and descriptions are more than anyone could ever asked for, and you wrote from so many povs, it's truly admirable how you managed to not get lost amidst all this craycray. I bow before you.

the character changes and developments, the settings and the backstories were all so believable and vivid, so colorful, I couldn't put this down and swallowed it in a lil' more than two days.

I would really love to thank you for writing this mofo out and sharing with us. if this was a movie, it'd be great. frightening as fuck, but really very good. so thank you for this.
