Guest chapter 4 . 7/7 It’s not like Sam cared about Dean |
alberte140101 chapter 13 . 7/4/2017 This is one of the best stories I've read. I'm day by day reading my way through your stories and they're seriously some of the best I have ever read. First of all your imagination and storylines are so vivid and amazing and second you really manage to capture Sam and Dean as characters and also their relationship and I love it so much. I'm also a very big fan of some hurt dean and protective/caring Sam so your page and your stories just make my little fangirl heart so happy. Sorry for the long review I just needed to express all that :3 |
TheTardyOwl chapter 13 . 6/12/2017 Omg i kept forgetting this wasn't a death fic and caught myself holding my breath so many times! Dean is my favorite and I was right there with Loving/Caring Sam and Protective/Homicidal Sam. I nearly cried when Dean woke up that first time! This story put me through the emotional wringer and I loved it. |

ngregory763 chapter 13 . 9/9/2016 Wow. This was so amazingly well written. Thank you! I was so anxious at one point I had to put it down for a day just to distance myself. Your ability to paint the scene for the reader is magnificent, it put me right next to them...feeling their pain. You rock. |
donedonedonedeletemyaccountplz chapter 13 . 8/31/2016 Supernatural Fanfiction Monthly Awards: I think you well deserve the 500 reviews on this story. You put our boys through a lot, and it stung, but you evoked something in your readers that is hard to accomplish. There was a very nice flow to your writing, and I could see the intricacies you placed into your characters and their motivations. While there may have been occasional issues with pacing, it is often up to the reader, and I don't think it posed a problem. Overall, an excellent job. You made this reviewer quite teary. No small feat. |
Vampyvii chapter 10 . 8/31/2016 Supernatural Fan Fiction Monthly Awards Review: This story well deserved the second reading that it's achieved here with this reader. The POV transitions were adeptly handled, and those glimpses were more than adequately emotionally wrought and suspenseful. You put the boys through the wringer here, perhaps much more darkly than canon could attempt without having to deal with residual pathos, but you've somehow brought them through it here quite dexterously. This is thoughtful and well-presented case study. |
SPNReadingManiac chapter 13 . 8/31/2016 Supernatural Fan Fiction Monthly Awards Review August 2016 The story had an enormous potential to be a very interesting case and horror tale. However, several problems conspired to make it less compelling than it could have been. The structure and design chosen for the first half, alternating between past and present, robbed the reader of participation and anticipation. Information was discussed by the characters in the Now sections, and only explained to the reader later in the Then sections, deliberately delaying any possibility of understanding or being able to join the characters in speculation. Red herrings and other delaying tactics used eroded the tension and pace of the story as they vanished from the plot without fanfare or explanation. Much explanation was missing or retrofitted and appeared to be the result of a story that was written without a guiding outline or overall plot plan, or rushed without thought of coherency, character development or revelation. A formatting problem of leaving out tangible scene dividers whenever time or location or viewpoint was changed hampered the flow of the story. Whenever a scene is finished and a new scene begins, it's very helpful to readers to have an indication of that, within a chapter. For the most part, the characterisation was unrecognisable. There are many fans, of course, who prefer the hurt/comfort genre and see no discrepancies in one or both brothers showing psychological or physical weakness they do not display in canon. It is the writer's prerogative to choose how to shape the characters but for my part, they were not the characters I know and I found no empathy with them at all. The OCs in the story were little more than props, having no personalities, histories, thoughts or value in themselves and existing to further the plot or die. Overall, the story was readable, with most grammar, spelling and punctuation correct, making scenes easy to visualise. With more effort and planning, this could have been a very fine case fic. |
Lizelle chapter 13 . 5/3/2016 I just loved this story!,, |

CassiWinchester chapter 13 . 12/15/2015 Loved the intricate details, and the complex storyline was perfectly wrapped up. I understood this lore better then the Supernatural Lore itself! |
SonjaLei17 chapter 13 . 12/7/2015 This is such an incredible story, oh my gosh! Everything about it was so wonderfully intriguing and constantly kept me on the edge of my seat while reading it! Poor, poor Dean; and Sam. They both went through so much, but I'm happy it ended on a good note for everyone that survived. Your idea to use the god Xipe Totec was absolutely amazing and so, so refreshing to read. Thank you so much for sharing this fantastically creative and amazing story with us. I love it so much! |
