Poll: I'm just curious- which kind of stories of mine do you read? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 134 stories for Young Justice, Wrestling, Justice League, Hetalia - Axis Powers, Hobbit, Dragon Ball Z, Assassin's Creed, Naruto, Overwatch, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア, Deus Ex, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, All Out!!/オールアウト!!, Avengers, and Batman. I wish to start this profile off with a small warning. I write many different kinds of stories- mostly humorous, romantic, and dramatic. Friendship and family are big components; just like angst and dysfunctional relationships. So even though I like to think there's a little something for everyone, be warned that there's a little something for everyone. Even though I have many different fandoms under my belt, I am mostly writing for Naruto at the moment. I may branch out from time to time with a one-shot here and there, but that's an exception, not the norm. Now, aside from that small bit about what I tend to write, I think this is the moment to give a huge warning about how I write. And that's very slowly. I take a while to update. And I'm very fleeting when it comes to my passions- so there are stories with more than twenty chapters that have been completed to be found. Just like there are stories that aren't even halfway completed and I doubt they'll ever be finished. So be prepared to find stories left on permanent hiatus. If you're a Star Wars: the Clone Wars fan, would you like to check out a roleplaying forum that has recently opened its doors? Here's the link: Star Wars: a Galaxy of Wonder If you're a Young Justice fan, here's a forum for you. Now, we're semi-inactive at the moment, but still post from time to time. Poke at us. Someone will answer. Link: Young Justice Role-playing Forum For any questions about my stories, here are some answers: I have erased a few because I cannot stand them anymore. These are: A Little Magic Never Hurt Anybody... Until it Did- Blue Exorcist Fic If anyone wishes these fics to be sent to them in their raw states, send me a PM and we can work something out. But please don't ask me to post them again. There's a reason I don't want these accessible anymore, after all. Name: Do you really want to know? Age: Between sixteen and twenty four. Looks: I'm dark skinned and I've got myself a small afro, painted a dull color of red. I'm short for my age, and I have pretty big eyes. Description: I'm a college student now. And I've had this account for six or seven years now- since 2012. My personality tends to appear in my writing in some manner- be it consciously or subconsciously. I've chilled out over the years, but my hyperactivity is still pretty easy to spot when something really grabs my attention. I've become rather patient and tolerant in my college years, so, compared to my younger years, I've changed quite a bit. And I like to think that my personal evolution can be seen when comparing my older stories with the newer ones. Well, as you can tell, my name in this place is Varmint, and I'll tell you about what I will write. I'm a pretty unreliably reliable writer when it comes to the stories I want to write. When the plot bunny bites (why haven't we called these 'plot wolves' yet?), it bites. It literally will not leave me alone until I write it. This works pretty well for one-shots because I finish them up (usually) in a day and post them. But this proves to be problematic for multi-chaptered stories. ... I... Uh... I have the bad habit of leaving multi-chaptered stories alone until inspiration strikes again. And if it doesn't, I don't continue writing. Which is the reason why I have so many discontinued stories. I hate it, but it's the truth and I can't get around it. Although I have large pieces that I have managed to complete, like The Bonds That Hold (A YJ/Abused Wally fic), Bound to the Enemey (A slow burn Itachi/Kiba fic), and Watch Me Burn (A psychopath!Wally fic). Some of my stories will have slash, because I completely adore some of the slash couples, although I can write up a het fic if I'm asked to or feel like it. Favorite Characters: Young Justice: Red Arrow, Superboy, Kid Flash, Aqualad, Green Arrow. The incessant plot bunny for this fandom is Wally West. Now, I've been on this site for a couple of years now. And Young Justice was the first fandom I ever wrote for. Unfortunately for many that love those stories, I've grown out of my superhero phase. I don't really write much for them unless it's a one-shot. So most of those stories you see down there that haven't been completed? It's highly unlikely they'll ever be finished. Seven Soldiers of Victory (Old school ones): Vigilante, Crimson Avenger,Green Arrow, Speedy, Wing. Vigilante. This man won't leave me alone. He comes and goes as he pleases like a true drifter of the prairie. But when he appears, he does not leave me alone until I have finished a one-shot for him... Rather annoyin' cowboy, if you ask me. Justice League: Vigilante, Batman, Flash, Green Arrow, Shining Knight. As explained before, Vigilante! Deadpool: Who else? DEADPOOL OF COURSE!! In my earlier fics, Deadpool would always appear. Specifically in the Young Justice humorous fics. The reason he is there is because I wanted him to and that's it. I am very much aware that he belongs to Marvel. But I wanted to write for him because I loved the guy, had little experience with Marvel itself because I'm a DC fangirl, and no one could tell me how to write. So he's shoehorned into quite a few DC stories because... Well... Yes. Hetalia: Russia (He's just so adorable!), Denmark, Canada, Cuba, Germany, America at times, Britain even fewer times, and France! Just gotta love that frog! Denmark is a little ball of love that loves to knock me over the head with his beautiful battle ax until I write for him. I haven't written for Hetalia in a while either except for a crossover with Naruto, so you can't really expect much for me out of this. Naruto: Kiba (The rabid plot wolf-like-bunny that won't leave me alone. You'll see a lot of him in my stories.), Kakashi, Tobirama (I don't know much about him. Just that he's cool looking, has water related jutsu, and is hated by one of my friends... So I love him.), Hidan, Sasori, and many more! Naruto is my current obsession. The show, not the character. Naruto (the character) is okay, I guess. But the people that really get me are the side characters. Sakura, Sasuke, and Naruto are an okay-ish team, and I guess a lot of people like them, but I don't really like them all that much. I prefer the much more adorable and less explored characters that could have the coolest backstories! Like Ibiki Morino or Genma Shiranui. Kiba is the rabid plot wolf that refuses to stay still for more than two weeks. He appears out of nowhere, bites tightly until I have written, then returns to lurk the depths of my imagination until he decides to strike again. He is both adorable and terrifying and the person I love writing for the most when it comes to my fanfictions. Most of them will deal with him in some manner, either as a main character or a recurring secondary character. Genma Shiranui is a chill kind of dude that refuses to be called a plot bunny, so we'll call him a plot farmer. He drifts in and out like Vigilante, but doesn't strong arm me to write for him. He just threatens with not leaving me alone until I finish up with him. And he's the star of one of my most popular stories yet, Genma Shiranui: Mother Hen Extraordinaire. If you haven't checked it out and like a good, funny read with angsty moments and adorable children, do so. You may just like it. And Ibiki Morino is the silent killer with a golden heart that doesn't even bother me. He just stands in the corner, patiently waiting to be used in my stories. And I love him for constantly being a usable character in almost all situations (he's actually extremely versatile if given the right characterization). Update February 6, 2017: I have decided that it's about time I get serious about all of my stories. So, here, on this small excerpt of my profile, I shall list all of my uncompleted stories by fandom. Along with these I have written and a small overview of them, I will rate them from most likely all the way to least likely of which will get completed and which won't. It'll range from 1 (very unlikely) all the way to 10 (already working on the next few chapters). Assassin's Creed: Scarred, Lost in Time, and Insane- The assassins of old are now in the real world and driving the modern assassins insane. Rather humorous, if I may say so. Seven published chapters. One is in creation. Couldn't They Have Just Stayed in Their Universe?- Crossover with Young Justice. Assassins begin to appear in the Team's world. Just why they are here and how they got there are questions these kids must answer. Did I mention both the Assassin's and the Team's worlds are in peril? Fourteen published chapters. Blue Exorcist: A Little Magic Never Hurt Anybody... Until it Did- Shima is bullied. Mephisto becomes his best friend... But, really, it's only because he's a dog. Shima has no clue who his new best friend really is. Seven published chapter. Dragon Ball Z: A Wish for a Family- A slightly angsty Yamcha adopts a street urchin. Ranging from fluff, to angst, to humor. Seven published chapters. (Is seven my unlucky number?) Hetalia: A Monster's Love- Russia is obsessed with Denmark. There was supposed to be a kidnapping... I think. I lost complete control of this thing, if I may be honest. Six published chapters. Of Sunflower's and Maple Syrup- Russia/Canada. I'm not completely sure about this one anymore, too... I kind of forgot I had even written this. Seven published chapters. Hobbit: Of Toymaker's and Lawyers- Ah, this one. Bofur/Thorin fic. Set in the present day, Bofur is a homeless drifter that runs into the great luck of encountering Fili and Kili. Shenanigans and romance ensue. Thirteen published chapters. Red is the Rose- Bofur has been acting strangely because of love. Ori plays matchmaker. Bofur/Thorin. Eight published chapters. Justice League: Lost in Hollywood- Greg Saunders was taken from his home in the 1940's and must now adapt to life in the modern age. Six published chapters. Shattered Dimensions- Crossover with Young Justice. The Team wind up in a Watchtower nothing like their own. Much teenage angst and drama comes about. Fourteen published chapters. Naruto: Bound to One's Duty- Yet unpublished sequel to Bound to the Enemy. I am currently working on it and wish to finally publish it by May! Dancing with the Devil- Kisame/Kiba rare pair. Gift for a friend. One-shots of their turbulent and very much violent relationship. Three published chapters of the planned eight. Ojos Color Sol- Hidan/Kiba rare pair. A flying mutt falls into Hidan's lap one lazy day and his life is never the same again. Lousy dog boy with the beautiful eyes... Ten published chapters. I have about a paragraph for the new chapter. Turning the Page: Onto a New Chapter- Ibiki is given command of Team 8 after the unfortunate loss of Kurenai Sensei. At first, he thought it'd be easy. Then he notices just how broken and disjointed the kids have become. Five published chapters. New chapter is being written slowly, but steadily. Old Man by the Bar- Kakuzu unwittingly befriends Sakura, Chouji, and Kiba because he helped them out for a school project. Watch as Konoha's future changes because of this. Eleven published chapters, although I am thinking of erasing the eleventh and changing it. Orochimaru's New Pets- Orochimaru kidnaps Kiba, Kankuro, Naruto, Shikamaru, and Neji and experiments on them. Pure, unadulterated weirdness ensues. Six published chapters. Don't Look Back- Sasuke/Kiba rare pair. A loose narration of Sasuke and Kiba's troubled relationship from Kiba's point of view. Five published chapters. Another one being written. Flying Blind- Heh. This story. The Akatsuki somehow managed to de-age the Konoha 12, the Sand Sibs, and Ibiki Morino, Anko Mitarashi, and Genma Shiranui. Now each member has a three man cell composed of these kids. Watch the insanity unravel. Eight published chapters. The new one is being written. 6 AM (Teenagers and Alcohol Don't Mix)- Itachi/Kiba. Wild teenage party, drunken sex, and now Itachi loves Kiba. Kiba's never listening to Naruto again. Four published chapter. And I'm working on the next one. Genma Shiranui: Mother Hen Extraordinaire- Genma adopts the Konoha 12... Basically. Hijinks and fluff ensue. Nine published chapters. And I usually try to update every weekend. Should You Encounter a Wolf- Kiba meets an odd stranger named Zabuza. Then they adopt Gaara and Haku. Ten published chapters. House of Wolves- Kiba is all but raised by Kakashi. He wishes to be like a Hatake and use wolves in battle. So he does. One chapter, for it's a new release, but I think I know what I'm doing! Wrestling: 25 Days of Christmas: WWE Style- Small one-shots about the WWE Superstars with some TNA guest stars. 19 published chapters. Don't Let us Get You- Zack Ryder is tired of being abused and beaten down as nothing more than a joke. AJ Lee, Ryback, Vickie Guerrero, and the Shield all play important roles in this. Twenty chapters. I have one in my file, but it's old and I'm sure has metaphorical cobwebs... Fields of Gold Jeff and Matt Hardy's mother told them of a magical land that could cure all illnesses. After an accident leaves Jeff with only a few months to live, they decide to go off and try to find this place. Because of this they find themselves in a magical world composed of WWE characters as fantastical beings. Just imagine this: Daniel Bryan as a fawn and Sheamus as the vampiric keeper of a thousand year old castle. Sixteen published chapters. The next planned chapter is much like Don't Let us Get You's. Ways to Get Kicked out of Walmart with DX- Shenanigans with DX, Zack Ryder, Kaitlyn, and a bunch more. Eight chapters published. Like Father, Like Son- Crossover with Young Justice. Wally is de-aged and given to Sheamus to care for. Much Wally cuteness in this one. Eleven published chapters. Young Justice: 21 Smoking Guns- Imagine that the sidekicks and mentors were mixed up and this universe is different from the one we know. Wally is Green Arrow's student and they like each other. Richard was adopted by the Allens after the circus fiasco. Zatanna was kidnapped by Wonder Woman and is now with Guy Gardner. And Jason Todd is now an alcoholic Zatara's perpetual thorn in the side. There's more, too, if you're interested. A lot of mixing up of the DC Universe. Fourteen published chapters. I swear I had a new chapter somewhere... But... It went poof! Broken Bonds, Broken Souls- Sequel to Watch Me Burn. Wally survived Robin's murder attempt. He's back to clean up the trash. Eleven published chapters. Don't Mess with Our City- The Rogues don't take too kindly to out of towners muscling in on their territory. Especially when it hurts their Baby Flasher. Six chapters have been published. Going Rogue- Batman didn't learn from the first simulation. But this time it had much more disastrous effects. The Team was supposed to go rogue, I think... But I have no idea, anymore. Guidelines to Surviving our Wrath- Sequel to Guidelines to Living with Young Justice. The Justice League now has rules. And the Team is there to make sure they all follow. Fifteen published chapters. Let the Darkness Surround- Dark Fic. Deathstroke has Green Arrow in his lustful and violent grip. And the Emerald Archer can do nothing about this. Eight published chapters. One in the works... Not by much, but it exists! Loving the Enemy- Conner/Tommy Terror. Tommy is a pariah in the villain community. He might as well try being a hero. Gift for a friend. Six published chapters. Misadventures of the Bat Family- Sequel to The Different Ways to Say Dad. Watch the Bat Kids grow up and drive their father and uncles insane! Six published chapters. Perfect World, Broken Homes- Dystopian AU. I have no idea, really. I have to fix this thing up. Just... much less violent Hunger Games, I guess... Jason's here too! Seven published chapters. To Raise a Kid, Merc Style- Sequel to Conner's Search for a Family. Conner chose his new family. Deathstroke and Vixen. Eight chapters published. Welcome to the Madhouse- Asylum AU with each of the kids with some kind of mental disorder. Jason and Roy are the kooky guards! It's humorous, really. Not serious at all. Nine chapters published. Cinnamon and Ginger's Misadventures in Alternate Universes- Crossover with a whole bunch of fandoms. Wally should be smarter than this... But he isn't. Running away from the Bat, he somehow ends up in a universe travelling device and his adventure begins! On the way, he picks up a wild Deadpool. Currently not as lighthearted as before because I reached the Flashpoint Paradox arc. Grifter is a big person in this. Twenty chapters published. One is halfway done... How to Train your Godly Father- Crossover with the Avengers. Wally gets 'adopted' by Thor. Much fluff and heartache comes when his family comes a-knocking. Nineteen published chapters. Roads Untraveled- Crossover with the Avengers... A... Hodge-podge of ideas I need to make sense of. Wally gets abused, I think, and the Avengers find out... I really have to go back to the board on this one. Thirteen published chapters. I wish for you all to know that, at the moment, I am more likely to finish my Naruto stories than any other ones. It's the fandom I am actively reading and writing for. But that does not mean I have completely given up on my other stories. Anything with a 5 and up have hope to being updated. But... Anything below... Uh... Don't hold your breath. ~Varmint |
