I realize it’s been a while since your last update and I hope all is well with you. I wanted to let you know that this is one of the best, well-developed AUs I’ve had the opportunity to read. I really love the way you develop the characters and allow them to jump to conclusions and act as children and adults that are far from infallible. I also particularly enjoy the way you set up scenes and scenarios that push the plot along. I don’t feel like anything is dragged out or cut short; the pacing is incredible. You’re a fantastic writing, and I’d love to see where this story goes if you ever have the chance to finish it. Even if you don’t, thank you for writing it thus far and for the incredible amount of effort you’ve put into it. This story is amazing.

This is... suprisingly good. Like really good. The characterization is both well-established and logical. The writing is crisp and tightly structured in a way few stories in this site are, yet still plenty engaging to read. The character interactions make for an entertaining story that doesn't need fighting or cheap tricks (which I admittedly love to read but recognize as cheap tricks) to hold and keep my attention. The Kiba-Naruto-Shikamaru focus is unique and plays well to my love for alternate team fics.

This is not the sort of story I expected to find languishing with 150 reviews in some other author's favorites, but I am very glad I stumbled across it. I'm very impressed overall, and would love to see more.

ok i was totally crying during this chapter...but i hope that when they are genin kiba, shikamaru and Naruto get the same team..that would be so much better
