How's it going, fellow authors and readers?

It should be pretty obvious right from the start that I'm a huge geek, but I'll just put it out there anyway. I'm a huge geek. No apologies here. I'm pretty sure I'm actually in love with Severus, and I also firmly believe that there is no point in writing any type, genre, or rating of Harry Potter fanfiction sans Severus Snape.

We are the students of Hogwarts. The ones who haven't received their letters in the mail, but still are supporting our favorite houses. The next best thing to Hogwarts is the internet one. We are loyal, brave, cunning, hardworking, smart, artistic, sneaky, and devious. We are all PROUD of the house the Sorting Hat sorts us in. We strive to beat others in house points through a friendly competition. I am a PROUD member of Hogwarts_Online_II , come and be sorted with the rest of us!

The basics about moi:

I'm a 26 year-old female who unashamedly loves Harry Potter, and does her best to contribute readable gems to the wonderful world of HP fan fiction. I adore shipping SS/HG, any genre, any rating, any plot. Both writing and reading this pairing brighten my day. I really see the two of them as a logical couple, being intellectual equals. (What JKR was thinking, putting Herms with the ginger menace, I'll never know. Then again, this is the same woman who killed off the only worthy character in the series, so... there you go.) I'm also a big fan of beta reading, as it enables me to hone my own skills while simultaneously helping other writers develop theirs.

Pet Peeve: People who don't review. It only takes a few seconds, and it encourages the author so much. Nothing is more frustrating than feeling that one is pouring one's efforts into a giant sea of Don'tgiveacrap. :( Join the review revolution!

H'okay, 'nuff whining bout 'dat!

Education:

I'm currently a full time student, and have ambitions to utilize my specific foreign language skills on the international scene in the future, perhaps as a diplomat. I'm graduating this December with my BA in History, but I've - DRUMROLL, PLEASE - just started my MA, too. How is that, you ask? The Diplomacy and Military Studies program I'm taking offers an option to completed 12 credits towards an MA while still technically an undergrad. The credits double count towards your BA, so basically that's 4 less undergrad classes I have to take. I've only just started, but already I can tell that it's going to affect my writing. In fact, I have a feeling I should put Persistent Hunger on a short hiatus. NEVER FEAR, THOUGH, READERS: I will NEVER abandon a fic. EVER. I mean that.

What I like to do in my spare time

I have one of the silliest senses of humor you will ever encounter, and I like that to come across in my writing, but I also have a serious, sensual side which I like to explore in more mature fics. I like cooking, baking, reading, stand up paddleboarding at any of the great beaches near my home in Oahu (don't hate me), anything Hello Kitty, and spending time with my wonderful hubby of nearly four years. :D Oh, and I love to cosplay and dress up as a vampire. Don't judge.

This October, I'll be in a local beauty pageant called Miss Vamp Hawaii - a dark contest allowing women to explore their individuality and creativity! For the first year ever, it's also being televised. If that weren't enough, local channel KFVE picked it up. Season one airs on SATURDAY, JULY 27!!! Check it out!
