Very enjoyable

I started reading this story several yrs ago b4 it was finished. So glad I found it again so I could finish the story. This has to be one of the best SSHG stories I’ve read, & I’ve read 100’s of them. This was not just well written, or even extremely well written—it is exceptionally written; it is a joy to read; & the characters discovering themselves & each other was So beautifully done. Thank you for this.

Great story. I loved the characterization of Hermione and Snape they were so well written!

This was a lovely fic and my third time through. My only question is the mirror's inconsistency.

"And you,' replied the mirror, 'are a very rude young woman, and you're not as pretty as they usually are. Look at the state of you. No lipstick, no blusher, no mascara. And your hair is ... brown. You're hardly going to appeal to him wearing jeans and a cardigan. Are you from an agency? He ought to ask for his money back."

I get that it's to set Hermione up to believe a certain thing but it seems weird that the mirror would wonder how Hermione would please him as a cleaner. And the fact that it mentions multiple girls. None of it makes sense.

Another fantastic story- what an emotional rollercoaster until the very end! The growth and sentiment as you've written are wonderful, and you have a fantastic balance of humour and emotion. I also really appreciate that you didn't lean on external conflict to bring the two together: they took the chances needed to properly win the other person over and in doing so, showed that there was long term hope as a couple. Great stuff!

Thank you for this wonderful story! I especially enjoyed the awkwardness between them in the last chapters. It's so realistic, loved it!

This story was fantastic from beginning to end. Both characters were pitch perfect and the story had just the right amount of angst to keep it interesting. Great Job!

Hermione is a horrible arrogant bitch for not leaving Snape alone when he wants to be left alone. She's obviously doing this for her own sake alone, and none of it for Severus. If she cared about him at all, she'd stop tracking him down and attacking him like an obsessed sexual harasser. Are we really supposed to like her, and be on her side? She deserves everything Severus gives her. And more.
