I am mostly retired from fanfiction. Most recently, I've written SPN and Avengers, so the only anime that I am likely to return to is Prince of Tennis. There's a decent chance that I'll get around to Harry Potter at some point. I feel like everyone does eventually.

At this point in fandom, I'm an oldtimer. I've lived here since I was twelve or thirteen and only left the realm for college and work. I remember all the fads and trends. I remember song fics galore and when someone in the Yu-Gi-Oh fandom finally figured out what that "certain spot" in the male body was actually called. I remember at least two previous account names before this one after I had to restore accounts due to banning (I have never been PG-approved). You are all my countrymen. Thank you for your endless support, your constructive criticism, and yes, even for the flames and trolls. You people rock.

ON MY WRITING STYLE:

I like elegance in writing. It's the flow and word order that gets to me more than anything else, and that's what I try to express in my own writing. I'm not there yet, but I'm trying to be. I like to have some humor-- I can hardly resist putting some in-- but I'm trying to get better at that. I probably need to cut down a bit. I strive to weave the characters stories together in an honest way, be as frank as possible, and stay let the story read the same from chapter-to-chapter. The writing I admire most is quiet and let's the story speak for itself without getting in the way. I don't follow this as well in my fanfiction as I do in my original work, but I just do the fanfiction for practice and the fandom (and the shameless adoration).
