Hmm... I don't think there's much worth saying at the moment. At least, not until I can dive further into things here. I might be acting a little timidly for the time being, but so be it. For now, I'd rather be reading any quality fics I come across, than attempting to write my own... Although I do have a few ideas, should perspiration have sufficient motivation to accommodate inspiration (and the limitations of the local library due to my current lack of computer access at home).

If anyone was paying attention to my profile during my ongoing procrastination on my main story, there were several writing challenges posted here, but I have since removed them from my profile and opted to create a forum that will host these challenges and others I might choose to post in the future. - Healing the Sun: Instead of Sasuke, it was Naruto who heard Sakura's cruel words about Naruto's lack of parents. Naruto is broken and convinced that no one will ever show him love, and tries to end his life. Now it is up to everyone else in Naruto's life to step in and fix their broken sun while they still can. Co-written with Zorback32. Suicidal!Naruto.

On Hiatus:

- An Uzumaki Scorned: Ten years after the Fourth Shinobi War, Naruto's dream to become Hokage has become a bitter search for truth and understanding. On the night he finally achieves his dream, he uncovers a devastating series of betrayals from the Sandaime that drive him into the past to seek justice. Jaded!Naruto, Troll!Ino.

Pending ideas:

- The Moon Rabbit and Her Fox: Inspired by an abandoned harem fic that may or may not have been based off Monster Girl Encyclopedia, only no harems will be found in this version. No summary yet, but let it suffice to say that Naruto's getting lucky. Hyūga Massacre AU. Viera!Hinata, Lamia!Anko, Good Toneri.

- Reignite the Sun: A devastating betrayal during the search for Tsunade has cost Naruto his home and Hinata, her innocence. Believed dead by everyone, Naruto vanishes. Five years later, he reappears when a Root-trained, lace-agent Hinata is ordered to eliminate a mercenary called Taiyō. Can the two still save each other despite all that has been done to them, or has their sun burned out? Non-Jinchūriki!Naruto, Sealed!Hinata. All side pairings are canon pairings.

- From Dreamer to Statistic?: Response to Solvdrage's "The True Genin Test...Failed!" challenge. Summary: We all know the canon story of Team Seven and how they became legends of the shinobi world. But what if they had been just another statistic? Kakashi's decision to fail Team Seven during the True Final Exam will drastically alter Naruto's path as he struggles to keep his dream alive. Possible Iruka/Kurenai side pairing.

- Haruno Gaiden: The Bloodbound Maelstrom: An intended double challenge response, taking on dracohalo117's "Haruno Naruto" and hinatasgreatestfan's "Chigan" challenges. Pervert!Sakura. All side pairings are canon pairings.

- After the World Ends: "If the world were to end tomorrow, who would you spend your last day with?" What if Hinata's world had ended the day after Iruka gave her class that assignment? Hyūga Massacre AU.

- Hyūga Wars: The one thing I've never seen in any fanfic where Kumo's attempt to kidnap Hinata (and Naruto) was successful was Hiashi doing what he is obligated to do as a father: declare war on Kumo. (GAMM's abandoned story The Vagabonds came the closest.) This take on the "Children of the Cloud" storyline means to have Hiashi do exactly that.

- Prophecy Corrupted: An AU in which Nagato dies in the Akatsuki's battle to liberate Ame from Hanzō. Obito's Tsuki no Me plan is greatly damaged and he must find another Uzumaki to bear his gift: the eyes of the Rikudō Sennin. However, Obito only knows of one Uzumaki available to use for his plans, and it just so happens to be the Kyūbi jinchūriki, Naruto...

- The Kitsune Emperor: Based off Chewie Cookies' former Feral Naruto Challenge (that no longer exists). During the search for Tsunade, Naruto suffers the ultimate betrayal from Konoha when he is banished by the Konoha Council and Fire Daimyō, using the opportunity left by Hiruzen's death to rid Konoha of him. But their plans to elevate Danzō to ultimate power in the shinobi world backfire when Kurama makes a choice that changes Naruto forever. Hiashi/Tsunade side pairing.

- Shadows of Hatred: (Fū might be part of a threesome) My eventual take on my first personal writing challenge posted above. Scenario two: What if Sasuke had overheard Mizuki attempting to bait Naruto into stealing the Scroll of Seals, but instead of stopping Mizuki, decided to defect to Otogakure that same night? Only to get killed by Naruto when the near-death of a person Naruto never realized was precious to him causes the Kyūbi to awaken? How will the consequences of this night affect the future of Konoha? Will not have any side pairings.

- Supporting Me...: Crossover with Sonic the Hedgehog and a challenge response from TheInfamousMan. When Minato used the Shiki Fūjin to seal Kyūbi inside his son, he ended up opening a rift to another universe and sealed a certain black hedgehog inside Naruto as well. Now, Naruto openly hates the village that denies his existence, but can a promise to a lavender-eyed girl save him from his hate? Canon Naruto pairings, no Sonic pairings.

- Naruto's Lavender Wolf: A response to nobleboivin's "Feral Hinata" challenge. AU: Kumo's kidnapping attempt was successful until a powerful demon wolf chose to interfere, killing the ambassador and transforming Hinata into a lycanthrope. Nine years later, when a weaponized Naruto runs into a feral Hinata during the Scroll of Seals incident, it falls to him to restore her humanity without losing what little remains of his own. Lots of blood/gore and character death. Mandatory side pairing: Shino/Fū.

- The Divine Light of Justice: Time travel AU modeled off xxfreefallangelxx's Time Travel Challenge. During Pain's Assault, Hinata is exposed to the corruption in Konoha when Danzō's Root faction interferes in Naruto's battle and kills Naruto before she can save him. Consumed with the desire for vengeance, she forces her way back in time with a new nindō: to save Naruto at all costs...and destroy the shinobi system. Age gap; Hinata retains her physical Shippūden age in the altered timeline.
