Why sooo many flashbacks

Such a great fanfic, too bad it got dropped

Darkness floods the background. Bold fractal eyes open before a growl emenates, "Barren toll; the wraith decree. Draconic warden; A crusade it screens. A sinister light; a burning shadow. A deprive shinobi; A hungering dream." Alpha smirks, "Sounds like a frost-fresh fragment of cool!"

Taps chin, "Hmm. I'm still rather early in this chapter. That said: your font/face type transitions are a bit odd. Not to criticize the use of such tools; but they seem a bit sporadic at times. Their application is somewhat effective; but it becomes a bit tricky to understand their relevance."

Alpha shrugs, "I do approve of the jutsu tags. 'Kitsune' being a supplementary affect makes the purpose acutely clear. The plot - while rushed at times - is engaging and prudent. I look forward to seeing what you do with this."

Ambiance shudders, "Was it entirely necessary to set the pranking target up so thoroughly? That guys going to be psychologically ruined!"

"Ah finally. An opportunity to use the proper channels. Well my dated hardware has finally gotten its heir. Let's hope this inconvenience follows." Alpha cracks his knuckles, "It may be for the sake of clarity but - eh, well - the shadow clone technique as used early on. The whole 'headcount' bit feels a little redundant. To the point that chakra control feels significantly disregarded. I get that shippuden is your strong suit. I just think these things could have been eased in a bit better. Is the Kyubi intercepting his chakra control and/or output ratios? Is the body switch an overriding or juxtaposing ability?" Alpha shrugs, "Each of these example offer point to augment clarity. I imagine there will be a few more."

Alpha sighs, "Again; Not to play the control freak. Just a bit of insight; mind overthinking/stating things. I really do approve of this abrupt style. It's rough but also invigorating."

A few things I have to say:

1. They aren’t supposed to do the Shadow Clone, you need a lot of chakra to do that and most of them don’t have enough.

2. You keep saying things like ‘Bowing to the waitress, Hinata, “thank you and I will tell him.”’ and ‘“You just make sure you tell us why Monday morning,” Kiba glancing at Naruto.’

3. You never say “said” after writing someone’s name down after they speak. That’s why I have my previous point. It looks weird, and kinda makes you seem stupid. Sorry, not sorry.

4. These are just my opinions, but number two and three really aggravate me to no end, and I’ve gotten really close to just chucking my phone across the room or accidentally breaking it from gripping it too hard.

5. So I’m begging you...

PLEASE.

Problem I’ve spotted in this chapter is that Hiruzen didn’t know that you gain the memories of Shadow Clones.

He’s the goddamn Hogake, OF COURSE he knows that you gain the memories of Shadow Clones.

Aside from that small, but also major flaw, it’s fine from what I’ve read.

I really hope you come back to this story. If you manage to bring Itachi back to the village & have Naruto, Itachi & The Maidens team up for pranking the ones deserving such treatment, OH THE CARNAGE, THE SHEER CARNAGE! And poor, poor Tenzo will have to constantly work overtime to produce enough wood to make paper for all the paperwork that would result.
