Just wanted to drop a review to see if you ever intended to return to this story. I was an avid fan back when you were actively writing it and I still am. I understand that interests change and that it has been nearly five years since you updated this story so I will wish you luck in your future writings.

I've got two problems here,
1. You've been gone for a while and haven't updated this or neon rain (which are my two favorite fanfics on this website)
2. I've had snake, it doesn't resemble chicken to me (but this could vary depending on the type, though unlikely.)

So I'm guessing this story is scrapped?

I really want to see what happens next!

I have to laugh at your boldness. You just keep pulling plot twists and cliffhangers on me that I can't see coming. You have blazed your own trail with this story, refusing to be bound by the plot line kishimoto laid out. I have seen authors take the cannon world as they knew it and use a single change in events or character to build their story off of, to great effect, but you have done something different. You made multiple changes, BELIEVABLE changes, to events in the story, and based any changes in characters personality off of the results of those changes. I have seen fan fiction that is little more than a somewhat altered story line, or is more about simply looking at how things could be different. I have also seen fan fiction that try to take a character people already know and completely abandon the cannon to create a very different kind of story only to have it collapse under its own weight as the plot spirals out of control, or turn into something so drastically different from the original that is more original work then fan fiction. But then there are the stories that did not grow out of control or into something almost unrecognizable. Back when Naruto was much newer, when there was far LESS cannon to work with, people writing longer stories had to be more creative. Now though that is much more rare, not that stories that stick closer to cannon can't still be good. But THIS story you have here has a feeling that reminds me of some of the old classics of Naruto fanfiction, the ones that inspired so many others. I've missed fanfics like this, where the author manages to give homage to the original while managing to write a work they can still call their own. THIS is the truest embodiment of fanfiction. I hope you keep on writing, be it with this story or another.

Excellent story. Its a unique storyline i haven't seen before. I hope you continue it.

When's the next update? I want to see Hanabi rescued and some KonoHana fluff.
