Each applicant applied for one or two Marvel characters which, if selected, would engage in a battle to the death, Hunger Games style. The Marvel character I applied for was Sinthea Schmidt, daughter of the Red Skull. I was selected along with 23 other authors from many and began work on my Reaping chapter.
