Such a sweet ending. This story was entertaining to read. Nice work with showing the emotional trauma that came with what happened, as in a real situation it would take some time to recover from that. Amazing work with this story.

Good work with not making this easy for the characters. The part where he almost died is well described on your part. I'm glad to see he will make a full recovery. McCoy's one liners in this chapter are a nice use of comic relief. Great work with this chapter.

Nice work describing the fight/struggle between the assailant, Kirk, and Chekov. Nice work showing how brave Chekov is to go into an obvious trap and be the one who picked up the phaser.

A wonderful follow up chapter. Oh no, now he managed to get inside the sick bay and hurt Chekov worse. With the news of him being a crew member, that just makes things worse. Who would want to hurt Chekov like that?

Nice job with having Jim set up security like that and Sulu deciding to stay with him incase the attacker comes back. Very nice work writing the suspense.

The struggle scene between the bad guy and McCoy is well written. It's all very vivid with great details. You've done an amazing job making that scene, and the whole chapter for that matter, as real as possible.

I like how Kirk handled the situation. For some reason a lot of authors portray Jim as an idiot, but I think your characterization of him is much more accurate. I love that one line, "If I did, do you think he would still be on my ship?" I can hear the tone in his voice by the way you wrote it.

Nice work with describing the assault. It's very vivid and quite painful to imagine a defenseless Pavel having to suffer that. Hopefully they find whoever did it and fast.
