AN: This entire chapter is an Author's Note...

First things first. I feel the need to apologize, it's been three years since I've touched this chapter and you opened it to get an Author's Note. But needs must. I am going to be completely honest with you...

This story as you currently know it is not going to be continued. Instead it is being re-written. The first chapter to this re-written story can be found under the title 'Of Broken Paths' with the rest of my stories. That story has several chapters written that only need a re-read for some editing. And I am currently working on the chapters beyond that.

It should never take three years for another update to happen.

As it is, I came back to this story (and those of you who were kind enough to leave encouragement for me despite the long absence are the reason why, your encouragement gave me the push I needed to keep going, so thank you) and I found that while the story itself was still something I loved very much, there were some smaller things (and a few larger things) that were no longer congruent with the person I am now. I tried several times to just finish the story, but in the end I realized it was just never going to work and thus began the long re-write.

I don't know if any of you are going to want to join me on that particular journey. But if there are any of you who wanted to see where that story is going to go, than I'll be glad to have you over with 'Of Broken Paths'. For those who are disappointed by this news, I apologize that I wasn't able to continue this story as it was, but thank you for having read it as it was, and for supporting me along the way.
