"Dad, what's for tea?" Molly wandered into the kitchen, her stomach growling. She'd just been having a Harry Potter marathon with Thor and they ran out of supplies two movies ago.
"Good morning, did you have a good nights sleep?" Bruce asked with a smile.
"Morning?" Molly frowned. "It's like 7 in the evening, isn't it?"
"Um, no, it's 8am..." Bruce said. "What have you been doing?"
"Don't look so suspicious!" She protested with a smile. The eleven year old didn't need anyone questioning her about what she was up to. Especially with the amount of Tony's tools and materials that she had stored in her bedroom. "I've been having a Harry Potter marathon."
"Right..." Bruce said. "With?"
"Thor."
"I'll be asking him how it went then," he replied and poured her some orange juice. "We were going to go on an Easter egg hunt with Imogen today. Are you coming?"
"Sure," she rolled her eyes. It had been a year since the incident with Peggy but it had only been a few months since she hadn't been afraid to go outside anymore. She wouldn't be harassed by any strange women, she would have a good egg hunt with her kind of cousin.
...
"LITTLE HUMAN CHILD, YOU SHALL LOVE HUNTING FOR THE EGG AND SPEARING IT WHEN WE FIND IT!" Thor yelled and everyone in the car groaned, covering their ringing ears.
"Inside voices!" Steve reminded him. "Please."
Natasha sniggered. "I don't think anyone explained that the Easter egg isn't alive when we hunt it."
"ITS NOT ALIVE?" Thor said equally loudly as before. "THEN WHERE IS THE F-"
"Inside voices!" Steve yelled.
"That wasn't an inside voice," Molly pointed out.
"That was to get you all to use inside voices though," he sighed.
"Imogen likes Thor's yelling. It entertains her," Molly added. Sure enough, Imogen was giggling and kicking her legs everywhere. She threw her book at Clint who yelled out as it hit him in the nose.
"You're an agent and a master archer! Can't you catch a damn book?" Natasha asked with a snap.
"No, I can't!" Clint replied, equally furious. "When it's thrown at me unexpectedly."
"This man...is an idiot!" Natasha nudged his side and he yelped.
"Ow!"
"Wimp."
"What happened to the nice Natasha with her lovely baby?" Clint said with a scowl. "I prefer her."
"My baby isn't here. I can be as mean as I like."
"Not necessarily," Molly butted in.
"Everyone! Shut up!" Tony yelled, looking round at them, and the minivan swerved slightly. Pepper shrieked and covered her eyes.
"Look at the road! Tony, there's a baby in this car!"
"There's Imogen too," Natasha said with a smirk. Clint stuck his tongue out and looked out of the window. "Oh come on, it was just a joke. I'm sorry. You've been really sensitive lately. Is it because Loki had to go to Asgard?"
"It's because of a lot of things," Clint sighed dramatically. "And I don't care about Loki."
"My brother cares about you, Clint," Thor said softly. Clint glanced at him but pretended not to hear him. Natasha saw the small smile settle on Clint's face but didn't say anything.
...
Molly was holding all the baskets as Clint climbed trees to look for eggs, Natasha and Steve were wandering around, both nervous because they'd left baby James behind, Tony had disappeared with Imogen and Bruce was looking warily at all the children.
"I've got an egg!" Clint yelled and Molly held out the bucket. He threw it in then slid down the tree.
"Idiot!" Natasha yelled at him. "That's a real egg, Barton. Not a chocolate one. Why would the eggs for children be up a tree?"
"Oh, children," Steve said. "That reminds me of James."
"James," Natasha sighed heavily. "I miss him."
Then Tony came running up. "Imogen smells. I think she needs her diaper changing."
"And you want us to do it?" Natasha asked.
"Just pretend she's James."
"Sex Ed classes obviously weren't your strong suit," Clint grinned.
"You just thought a bird egg in a bird nest was an Easter egg so you can't insult me," Tony snapped.
"I'm hungry!" Molly announced and Bruce handed her a ten dollar note.
"Go grab us something to eat then."
She nodded and wandered off, wondering if she could find somewhere quiet to rest for a bit. She was walking through the forest, listening as the children's yells grew further away, when she stumbled. The ground loomed closer as she fell then someone grabbed her and pulled her back up.
Molly looked up, shocked as she recognised the woman. "You again," the woman frowned. "Well, it's been a year hasn't it?"
"Uh...y-yes," Molly stammered.
"It's Peggy, just to remind you."
"I'm Molly Banner."
"Yeah. My dad's just back there and so is Tony Stark and Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff-"
"Steve Rogers?" Peggy said and her hand flew to her mouth. "What do you mean Steve Rogers?"
"Captain America? He's back there with his girlfriend?" Molly said. "I thought everyone knew they were dating. I mean, they've got a baby together-"
"Steve's alive?" Peggy asked. Molly suddenly noticed how old-fashioned Peggy's clothes were. She was wearing a red dress with matching lipstick but it seemed very wartime-ish.
"Uh...duh."
"Since when...how...how is this not big news? And he has a girlfriend? He's got a baby?" Peggy looked confused.
"Yeah...the baby's called James. He's cute. They miss him because Coulson's babysitting at the moment."
"Molly," Peggy frowned, "what year is this?"
