This was amazing! I'm so glad I found this- I love how you wrote Eve's experience in training; her isolation and the men's distrust slowly transforming into friendship really helped showcase the incredible change that each soldier underwent. The characterization was amazing and you did such a great job world-building and adding depth to the characters.

Wow it has been awhile since I was waiting every Thursday for a chapter! I’ve reread this story I don’t know how many times because I have yet to find one that even compares to this one. It will probably always be one of my favorite stories!

Dude, I don’t even know what to say, except that this is one of the best fanfics out there, and almost certainly (PERSONAL OPINION SO Y’ALL DON’TMe) the best Band of Brothers fic.

I just binge read this story in two days and it is genuinely one of my favorite BoB stories that I've ever found. I'm ashamed to say that I almost didn't click on it do to the naive passing notion that "no pairing" meant it would be less interesting. I'm glad I gave it a chance and I'm glad I was so utterly wrong. The companionship and friendships found by Ev in this story were all so wonderfully done and I absolutely cried my heart out more than once. I love the character of Eve and how strong she is. Her grit and perseverance, as well as her compassion made her a fantastic OC. You did such beautiful work on this and I was so excited to see Sledge make an appearance as Eve's fiancé! I look forward to the planned epilogue to explore their relationship :) Great story and I'm so glad I found it!

This is hands down one of my favorite stories on this site. Your writing is impeccable and I can’t tell you how many times I’ve read this story. You really capture the emotions and depth of the Ev and I cry every time I read this story. I can’t wait to read your stories in the future.

i spent the past two days binge reading this and it is currently 1:06am so im not very coherent
ill do my best to come back and leave a more comprehensive comment later
but i cried the whole way through this last chapter
it’s one of those fics that leaves you kind of useless for a few days afterwards

also i remember way back in an authors note you mentioned the romance in the epilogue would be unexpected

Wow. You know you've read something wondrous when you're left with a sense of something almost like loss when finished. And that is exactly how I feel now. You took E Company and the wonderful and amazing TV production and somehow gave it more life through words. There wasn't a thing I disliked. As evidence by my review time stamps, I marathoned through this incredible work over the last few days. I just couldn't get enough. Evelyn was stupendous. The Parisians (I'll say it again) were awesome. The visits to Paris and glimpsing the lives of the Resistence members were probably my favorite scenes flat out in this story.

There are not words to properly describe my enjoyment for Warbonds, so I'll just have to say thank you. Thank you for this incredible work. Thank you for doing justice to not only the show, but to the real heroes of E Company. You wrote scenes that transcended fanfiction and were able to connect me to feeling love, heartbreak, and bonds that only a hellish war can bring, something I will very likely never experience.

I've finished this incredible work about 45 mins shy of entering 2018. Thank you for ending my 2017 with an incredible journey.

It's lovely to see E company getting some soul back to them after the war ripped it away. Amazing writing as always.
