warning: i'm officially dried up for now. but i will be back. been caught up in another fandom and it's choking all the creativity out of me. and then there's real life.

I've been a writer for a while, but I've held back from writing fan fiction for fear that I would not do a good enough job. Mostly, I'm just lazy and I like visiting the worlds other people create. So I come here to feed my addictions and read. But reading (lurking) is no longer enough. It took Inception to get me out of my limbo as I try to make real the dreams in my head.

I ship many pairings in fantasy-dom that apparently never become canon. I see the connections that apparently the actual authors/scriptwriters refuse to see. The only pairing that I supported that became canon was Joey and Pacey (in the days before Veronica Mars there had been no label for them but after VM, we now know they are EPIC), and that was 10 years ago. I want to deny that these worlds are canon (or some parts of it) and there's nothing I can do about it, so I am grateful to this site for giving the happy (and bittersweet and tragic) endings in my head a chance to exist.

Inception - Ariadne and Dom, this has become the fuel for my current drive to write. Canon is expanding. Aside from The Cobol Job, the other prequel just came out: The Big Under. I realize that as much as I love A/D, who I really love is Nolan. I'll go wherever he wants this 'verse to go. If ever there is a sequel, I feel that Cobb will still be in it. Nolan has invested too much in this character for him to ditch him. I am sad that there aren't enough people that see the connection A/D share and for all the possibilities it could go simply because of age and how Ellen was dressed (refer to Vulture article). These two, along with Mal, are the characters that Nolan invested the most development in so I cannot imagine any fanfic/sequel without them.

I would love to write BSG2003 and T:SCC fiction, but there are just so many out there already that I don't know if there's any other concept to write about. I am humbled by the quality of the writing of most of the BSG2003 and TSCC authors. You guys really do your research (I'm apparently a Point Man at heart) and I love how many of you give vivid accounts of dogfights in space and rampaging skirmishes between HKs and determined human resistance fighters. In the land of dreams, all of this can be brought to life too (especially since Ariadne loves to play with the physics of things... but I don't think Inception is going to space just yet. maybe).

And for those of you that like what I've put out there so far, you have no idea how much your appraising eye and possible approval means to me. I pimp for reviews (to improve myself).
