So sad to see that this is the only legit Cobb/Ariadne story in existence on this site. I too ship that pair, and was rather disappointed that nothing came out of that intricate dynamic they developed with one another - especially considering that she knows more about Cobb than anyone else who's not related to him. I mean, the two of them went 4 levels into the dream (Van, Hotel, Snow Fortress, Cobb and Mal's world) and she saw Cobb's darkest moments and learned his darkest secrets. How nothing ever happened between the pair, I don't understand. I just finished watching the movie for the first time, so I had a lot to rant about. Great work!

This is really, really lovely, and I hope you do decide to continue it because I do really want Ariadne to meet Cobb's children - I think it would be a very sweet scene.

first off great story! i like your whole approach, there's a certain subtlety to it that feels absolutely organic and honest (and there goes me channeling Ellen Page). i so obviously ship these 2. i like where you ended this story. after all, all stories have to end. i like how understated you made it, very simple and very heartfelt. it's very true to the characters of cobb and ariadne for things to develop this way. an epilogue maybe nice, but you don't have to do it if it doesn't feel right.

Continue...it's worth a shot.

Loved, loved, loved Cobb's point of view. Very amazing just like the first chapter. It was nice to get a look at what he was thinking and the fact that Ariadne was a comfort for him -it was wonderful.
