I'm not the first one to say it but still... the line in the note was perfect. and the fact that he didn't let Cottle have the meds that were destined for the pilots but gave him his own was perfect also, and so in character with what and who Lee always was.

Great short piece. I had to think for awhile before remembering that conversation between Starbuck and Apollo back in the day. My Gods I miss those two!

I truly, TRULY wish this were the start of something longer. The opening and closing are just so damned enticing as to be nearly perfect. And the tag line? Never have I encountered six lines that summarize these two as concisely or clearly.

The author is to be commended for spinning such a great yarn out of such minimal cloth. Wish I could manage the same.

took me a moment to understand Lee's sentence, but as soon as I remembered Lee saying that about the 'stims' in the 33 episode, I had to laugh.
