Author has written 13 stories for Harry Potter. Just a normal girl who is in love with writing, painting, photography and all things Potter. I also enjoy Castle, White Collar, Doctor Who, NCIS, anything Disney and, of course, Narnia. It's been around four years since I've been into fanfiction, and I loved every second of it. Right now I've only posted one-shots and one complete story about Harry Potter, but I've been working on 3 chaptered stories: 2 Harry Potter ones, a Chronicles of Narnia one, as well as a Doctor Who series which is probably going to end up spanning around 9 chaptered stories - I have a lot, and I mean a lot, of plans for this series - and until I've finished them I'm not going to post them here; I often have huge writers blocks and I'd rather not keep my readers hanging for months on end. So until they're at least half finished, they won't be seeing the light of day :). The only exceptions to this is my Harry Potter fanfic, Never Let Go, which I am pretty proud of, and another HP fic that I'm co-authoring with my sister, Chronic Potterphile. You should read her stuff if you're a SPN fan, and her HP ones are awesome too :D. My tumblr name is also lairyfight, and its full of posts on Narnia, Harry Potter and my own photography. :) I'm also on Mugglenet Fanfiction, so in case you want to check me out there, my penname is majestic_ginny (yes I know it's a horrible name, but hey, I was fourteen back then.) Please check out my stories! ME, MYSELF AND I: A bit about me, if you lot are interested. Name: Nadia Age: 22 Occupation: University student, majoring in Biotechnology. Favourite Books:

BRIEFS ON MY STORIES 1. Never Let Go: Lucy Weasley, youngest daughter of Minister for Magic Percy Weasley, was found dead in her room early yesterday morning. Forensics has revealed that the death occurred due to poisoning, though the nature of the poison is yet to be confirmed. Harry Potter has a difficult job at hand. Well, being an Auror has never been simple, but when the victim is a part of the family, things are bound to become far worse. Relations are put to the test, and old secrets resurface. And sometimes, it may just get too personal… These are what I think the characters look like, in case any of you, like me, prefer to imagine the characters as you read. Harry Potter. Age: 42. Head of the Auror Office Ginny Weasley. Age 41. Senior Quidditch Reporter at the Daily Prophet. Percy Weasley. Age 46. Minister for Magic. Audrey Weasley. Age 45. Head Unspeakable at the Department of Mysteries. Teddy Lupin. Age: 25. Junior Auror. James S. Potter. Age: 17, almost 18. 7th Year Gryffindor. (Born in October, so he started in Hogwarts when he was almost 12) Lucy Weasley. Age: 17. she died a few days after her birthday. 7th Year Gryffindor. Victoire Weasley. Age 22. Trainee Healer at St Mungos. Dominique Weasley. Age 14. 4th Year Gryffindor. Louis Weasley. Age 15. 5th Year Gryffindor. Molly Weasley II. Age: 15. 5th Year Gryffidor. Fred Weasley. Age 17. 7th Year Gryffindor. Roxanne Weasley. Age 18. Graduated from Hogwarts the year before. Rose Weasley. Age: 16. 6th Year Gryffindor. Hugo Weasley. Age 14. 4th Year Hufflepuff. Albus S. Potter. Age 16. 6th Year Ravenclaw. Lily L. Potter. Age 14. 4th Year Gryffindor. Scorpius Malfoy. Age 16. 6th Year Slytherin 2. Patchwork: Dyslexia is a fairly common trait. Some can cope well, others not so much. With a little help from Albus Potter, Andrea Hallowell learns how to live with her condition. Al/OC. The characters are: Albus Potter. 5th Year Ravenclaw Andrea Hallowell. 5th Year Slytherin. This is pretty much in the same universe as Never Let go, so all other characters remain the same too, though they're not really mentioned. I know some of you guys really loved this story and want me to continue, and I have decided to write continuations of this story. I have all my plots and stuffs jotted down. Once I'm done with Never Let Go, I'll start writing it. :) It's gonna involve the Triwizard Tournament, hehe. ;) 3. A Touch of Ice: Aurors Scorpius Malfoy and Albus Potter are in charge of a murder case. The only clues are a missing ring, a cigarette stub and lots of water and blood. As the two Aurors start investigating, they find a lot of startling pieces of evidence... and not everyone being questioned is telling the truth. The characters are: Albus Potter. Age 23. Scorpius Malfoy. Age 23. This story isn't part of the Never Let go universe. Here Al was a Gryffindor, and Lucy never died or anything. This is a different verse altogether. MISC. OBITUARY FOR THE LATE MR. COMMON SENSE Today we mourn the passing of a beloved old friend, Common Sense, who has been with us for many years. No one knows for sure how old he was, since his birth records were long ago lost in bureaucratic red tape. He will be remembered as having cultivated such valuable lessons as: Knowing when to come in out of the rain; why the early bird gets the worm; Life isn't always fair; and Maybe it was my fault. Common Sense lived by simple, sound financial policies (don't spend more than you can earn) and reliable strategies (adults, not children, are in charge). His health began to deteriorate rapidly when well-intentioned but overbearing regulations were set in place. Reports of a 6 year-old boy charged with sexual harassment for kissing a classmate; teens suspended from school for using mouthwash after lunch; and a teacher fired for reprimanding an unruly student, only worsened his condition. Common Sense lost ground when parents attacked teachers for doing the job that they themselves had failed to do in disciplining their unruly children. It declined even further when schools were required to get Parental consent to administer Calpol, sun lotion or a band-aid to a student; but could not inform parents when a student became pregnant and wanted to have an abortion. Common Sense lost the will to live as the Ten Commandments became contraband; churches became businesses; and criminals received better treatment than their victims. Common Sense took a beating when you couldn't defend yourself from a burglar in your own home and the burglar could sue you for assault. Common Sense finally gave up the will to live, after a woman failed to realize that a steaming cup of coffee was hot. She spilled a little in her lap, and was promptly awarded a huge settlement. Common Sense was preceded in death by his parents, Truth and Trust; his wife, Discretion; his daughter, Responsibility; and his son, Reason. He is survived by his 3 stepbrothers; I Know My Rights, Someone Else Is To Blame, and I'm A Victim. Not many attended his funeral because so few realized he was gone. If you still remember him, pass this on. In Honor of Stupid People In case you needed further proof that the human race is doomed to stupidity, here are some actual label instructions on consumer goods: On a Sears hairdryer -- Do not use while sleeping. (Shoot, and that's the only time I have to work on my hair.) On a bag of Fritos -- You could be a winner! No purchase necessary. Details inside. (the shoplifter special)? On a bar of Dial soap -- "Directions: Use like regular soap," (and that would be how??...) On some Swanson frozen dinners -- "Serving suggestion: Defrost." (but, it's "just" a suggestion). On Tesco's Tiramisu dessert (printed on bottom) -- "Do not turn upside down." (well...duh, a bit late, huh)! On Marks & Spencer Bread Pudding -- "Product will be hot after heating." (...and you thought??...) On packaging for a Rowena iron -- "Do not iron clothes on body." (but wouldn't this save me more time)? On Boot's Children Cough Medicine -- "Do not drive a car or operate machinery after taking this medication." (We could do a lot to reduce the rate of construction accidents if we could just get those 5-year-olds with head-colds off those forklifts.) On Nytol Sleep Aid -- "Warning: May cause drowsiness." (and...I'm taking this because??...) On most brands of Christmas lights -- "For indoor or outdoor use only." (as opposed to...what)? On a Japanese food processor -- "Not to be used for the other use." (now, somebody out there, help me on this. I'm a bit curious) On Sainsbury's peanuts -- "Warning: contains nuts." (talk about a news flash) On an American Airlines packet of nuts -- "Instructions: Open packet, eat nuts." (Step 3: maybe, ooh...fly Delta?) On a child's Superman costume -- "Wearing of this garment does not enable you to fly." (I don't blame the company. I blame the parents for this one.) On a Swedish chainsaw -- "Do not attempt to stop chain with your hands." (Oh my ..was there a lot of this happening somewhere?) On a Korean kitchen knife -- "Warning: keep out of children." (hmm...something must have gotten lost in the translation...) On a matress warning label -- "WARNING: Do not attempt to swallow." (What prompted this?) On the back of a watch -- "For Best Results Use Other Side." (I start to question the world now.) Now that you've smiled at least once, it's your turn to spread the stupidity. |
